Thailand COVID-19 vaccine procurement plan

Bangkok Post Infographic: The Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) has tightened its controls, especially in six maximum- and strict-control provinces (dark red zones), to deal with the latest wave of Covid-19 infections.

📌 If I may, I would like to add a few notes to the restrictions mentioned here. In the declaration published in the Royal Gazette last night, it didn’t mention the word 100% for work from home. It’s a request to reduce the number of people coming in to work. Up to the company how they do that. For example, work on alternate days, was one of the suggestions.

We have confirmed reports of checkpoints going up today in the Chonburi area checking people for traveling. The overall message right now from officials is simple...Stay home unless your trip is absolutely critical and essential. What they deem critical may not be what you do as we have reports of people being turned around. You will need to get permission to leave Chonburi at local jurisdictions or city hall.

People don't need permission to come to Chonburi but are being discouraged from doing so and can also be interviewed on why they wish to come. If it is deemed non essential once again you could be refused. Officials have warned people hiding their reasons or trying to skirt checkpoints could face draconian emergency decree laws.

The overall message right now is do not travel and stay home. To be clear, there is not concern with traveling within Chonburi province but primarily inter provincial, however, you may still have to go through Checkpoints and as they are "requesting" people to stay home you may be asked why your trip is essential.
