Reopen Phuket on 1st July 2021
GET VACCINATED! Phuket soon to be reopened. Good news for those who have been completely vaccinated! Phuket is expected to reopen on 1st July 2021.
📢PHUKET: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Health Anutin Charnvirakul and Tourism & Sports Minister Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn in Phuket today (May 15) delivered a message of support from Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha confirming that Phuket will open to fully vaccinated international visitors while they inspected Phuket’s sites’ preparation to be ready within deadline of July 1st., 2021.
📢TAT Governor, Yuthasak’s reconfirmed on pushing hard with all concerned logistic supplies; airlines, public health, travel service to strongly and safety serve first reopening Thailand in Phuket as sandbox before expanding to 6 Destinations by 1st October 2021: Krabi, Phangna, Samui, Pattaya, Chiangmai, Chiangrai.
📢TAT Governor was working with several airlines to fly direct to Phuket once a week by July 1st, with
🛩Thai Airways on Frankfurt, London, Copenhagen, Paris, Seoul, Singapore to Phuket direct,
🛩Emirates for Dubai to Phuket direct,
🛩Singapore Airlines, Singapore to Phuket direct,
🛩and Doha to Phuket direct.

📢To ensure the safest for vaccinated visitors and local vaccinated Thais in Phuket, healthy and safety protocol is planned as following:
‼️International Arrival Protocol for no Quarantine for Vaccinated tourists:‼️
1️⃣Tourist need to have full dose of vaccination at least 14 days and no longer than 1 year for adult aged 18 up, and for children aged below 12-17, need to have Rapid Antigen Test at the airport. No Test at the airport for Children age below 12, if they are the same immediate family of Adult.
2️⃣RT-PCR Test result 72 hours before flight departure
3️⃣Activate Thailand Plus Application with allowance to share location with travelling plan document to ensure everyone’s safety
4️⃣Free to be in Phuket for 5 days with RT - PCR Test on Day 5
5️⃣Day 6 and day 7 could do a day trip outside Phuket such as Phi phi island, Koh Yao island, Phang-Nga Bay
6️⃣Minimum stay in Phuket is 7 days, but could shorten but could only fly back from Phuket International airport only, but if stay longer than 7 days, Bangkok or Phuket airport could be applied.
7️⃣For Safety, only Tourism Businesses are endorsed for tourists - hotels, restaurants, tour/sport recreation, transportation need certificate of TAT SHA.
8️⃣Sometime, Immigraton at Phuket airport will request and review the itinerary for your trip in Phuket
