Thailand's roads can be dangerous at the best of times. When it rains, particularly after it hasn't for a longtime, the roads are very slippery.

We often hear 'I just tapped the brakes and all of a sudden it slipped'. Please ride to the conditions or avoid riding at all when it's raining/wet.

There have been many crashes in the past few weeks with people blaming anything besides not driving to the conditions.

Thailand's roads are unpredictable at the best of times and even more so when it's wet.

Popular excuses this month:

- Someone ran me off the road
- The tires were bad
- The brakes didn't work
- There was oil on the road
- I didn't crash it, it fell over 🤐
- It's not damaged, it's scratched 😵‍💫

When renting a bike please take a test ride and check the tires and brakes. If you are unhappy with the bike in anyway or don't feel safe, please do not rent.

Please note:

* There is no insurance for the bike. Any damage is the sole responsibility of the customer and they are responsible for fixing the bike.

* There is hospital insurance for the rider and passenger (at the discretion of the insurance provider).

Terms and conditions (available instore and automatically emailed upon renting):

1. If you do not agree to any of the following Terms and Conditions please DO NOT RENT.

2. There is no insurance for the rented motorbike. ANY DAMAGE OR THEFT IS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CUSTOMER AND THEY MUST PAY TO FIX OR REPLACE THE MOTORBIKE.

In the event of an accident we will:

1. Give you a quote from our local mechanic + Rental days until the bike is repaired
2. If the customer is unhappy with the quote from the local mechanic the bike will be taken to the official Yamaha or Honda service centre for a quote +Rental days until the bike is repaired.
3. If the above two solutions are not satisfactory to the customer the police will be called to resolve the matter.
