𝐂𝐚𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝? 🌴❓

We're about to take you on a virtual journey to 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙙'𝙨 less known 𝙙𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨. Can you guess which island we're showcasing based on this short video of a secluded, almost triangular-shaped powdery beach, transparent turquoise waters, and all the tranquility you deserve to relax and unwind?

𝙃𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙞𝙥𝙨 to help you narrow it down:

🐠 It's a great place for snorkeling, like a big aquarium with dive sites for all levels.
🌴 It's a twin: there is another sister island.
📍 It's in Phuket province.
🌊 It's uninhabited but not a national park: no entrance fee to pay here!
🚤 In Phuket, the closest pier to this island is Chalong.

Think you know the answer? 𝘿𝙧𝙤𝙥 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙜𝙪𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 below, and stay tuned as we reveal the answer tomorrow.

Here we are ag*in for another episode of the Best of the Week saga.

This week brought us a mix of frequent showers and rainstorms alternating with warm sunny moments, azure calm waters, and clouds dancing across the sky.

On Sunday, our team ventured to Phi Phi and Khai Islands for an inspection.
𝘾𝙧𝙖𝙛𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙩𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙧𝙚𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙨 𝙥𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙚, 𝙥𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚, 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙮. It's not easy, with so many variables like weather, tide charts, passenger makeup, and other tour schedules, but it's a challenge we love to win.

This week's photos feature our Sunday outing, as well as 𝙥𝙝𝙤𝙩𝙤𝙨 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙙𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙋𝙝𝙞 𝙋𝙝𝙞 𝙄𝙨𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙋𝙤𝙙𝙖 𝙄𝙨𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙙, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙩𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙩𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙜𝙪𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙨.

Thrilled to announce that "Jurassic World 4" is filming in the breathtaking landscapes of Thailand as we speak! 🇹🇭✨

The stunning islands of 𝙆𝙤𝙝 𝙆𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙖𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙆𝙤𝙝 𝙈𝙤𝙤𝙠, along with the 𝙞𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙘 𝙅𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙨 𝘽𝙤𝙣𝙙 𝙄𝙨𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙙 (Koh Ta Pu) and the majestic 𝙆𝙝𝙖𝙤 𝙋𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙤𝙢 𝘽𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙝𝙖 mountain in Krabi, are set to star in this blockbuster! 🌋🏝️
For about a month, the provinces of Krabi, Trang, and Phang Nga will be transformed into a dino-lover's paradise. 🦖

𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦: 𝐋𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐚, 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐁𝐞𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬! ☕📞

Introducing Leena, our Big Coordinator and the Puppet Master at Siam Adventure World!
Officially, she is in charge of administration and human resources, but in reality, she coordinates and supervises all the different departments: 𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙫𝙖𝙨𝙩 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙗𝙞𝙜 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 make her an invaluable member of the team.

🌴 𝘼 𝙏𝙧𝙪𝙚 𝙋𝙝𝙪𝙠𝙚𝙩 𝙎𝙤𝙪𝙡

Leena was born and raised in Phuket and has been with Siam Adventure World since its inception in November 2012. 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙙 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙣, 𝙇𝙚𝙚𝙣𝙖 𝙟𝙪𝙜𝙜𝙡𝙚𝙨 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙩𝙖𝙨𝙠𝙨 both at home and at work. We honestly don't know how she manages it all – she must be running on just three hours of sleep each night!
𝙃𝙚𝙧 𝙨𝙚𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙩 𝙬𝙚𝙖𝙥𝙤𝙣? 𝙇𝙤𝙩𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙘𝙤𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙚, Italian style. ☕☕☕

🚤 𝙁𝙖𝙫𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝙏𝙧𝙞𝙥: 𝙅𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙨 𝘽𝙤𝙣𝙙 & 𝘽𝙚𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙙

If you ask Leena about her favorite trip, she won’t hesitate: it’s the James Bond & Beyond tour. 𝙎𝙝𝙚’𝙨 𝙖 𝙗𝙞𝙜 𝙛𝙖𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙋𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙉𝙜𝙖 𝘽𝙖𝙮, the floating village, and, we suspect, the delicious food at the Koh Panyee restaurant where we stop for lunch! 🥘
As for her favorite Thai dish, she loves "krapao g*i" (spicy Thai basil chicken), which she often cooks for herself and her extended family.

👀 𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙩𝙤 𝙎𝙥𝙤𝙩 𝙇𝙚𝙚𝙣𝙖

Spotting Leena is easy! Look for the one with a large mug of coffee and three mobile phones, 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙗𝙖𝙣𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙩 𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙚𝙙. 🫰
She also has a special power: whenever she leaves her desk, even for just 5 seconds, one of her phones is guaranteed to start ringing, prompting her to hurry back.

😊 𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙠 𝙔𝙤𝙪, 𝙇𝙚𝙚𝙣𝙖!

Leena’s bossy yet helpful nature and her knack for problem-solving make her the pillar of our company. She is a constant reassurance to everyone at Siam Adventure World.
𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙠 𝙮𝙤𝙪, 𝙇𝙚𝙚𝙣𝙖, for your dedication, your energy, and 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙗𝙚𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙢𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙨𝙠𝙚𝙧! 🌟🏖️

Lop is a true local, 𝙗𝙤𝙧𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙨𝙚𝙙 𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙖𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙛𝙪𝙡 𝙞𝙨𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝙋𝙝𝙪𝙠𝙚𝙩. He has been with Siam Adventure World almost from the beginning, joining the team shortly after the company was founded in 2012. His deep knowledge of Phuket and the nearby islands makes him a precious member of our team.

However, when it comes to his favorite Thai dish, Lop doesn't hesitate. His quick answer? Somtam! This delicious papaya salad with chillies, shrimps, and fish sauce is a beloved dish among both Thai people and foreigners.

Green season makes Krabi even more breathtaking! 🏝🐠

We ferried more people than ever, and the feedback has been fantastic.

Snorkeling here is always rewarding, especially when we get there early. Now, it's time for a break—both for us and the marine life. The turtles, dolphins, and fish deserve some peace of mind without our cameras. See you ag*in in October!

🌴 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐞: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐚 𝐁𝐚𝐲 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 🌊

My first visit to Maya Bay was a lifetime ago, in the early nineties when I was just a kid. This was long before the movie "The Beach," starring Leonardo Di Caprio, turned it into an international sensation.

𝘽𝙖𝙘𝙠 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙣, 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙣𝙤 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙚𝙙𝙗𝙤𝙖𝙩𝙨 – 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙡𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙬𝙤𝙤𝙙𝙚𝙣 𝙗𝙤𝙖𝙩𝙨 that ferried the few tourists from Ton Sai village on Phi Phi Don to this hidden gem. I remember spending endless days on the beach with my family, feeling like we had discovered paradise. 🏝

The beach was a pristine haven where we could relax, sunbathe, read, and snorkel among the vibrant corals that adorned the left side of the bay.
These corals extended from just meters off the beach all the way to the mouth of the bay. 🐠🪸

𝙒𝙚 𝙛𝙚𝙡𝙩 𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙨𝙪𝙘𝙝 𝙖 𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙦𝙪𝙚 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙚, fully aware that we were in one of the most beautiful spots on Earth.
And despite all that has happened over the years, I still believe it is.

Years later, 𝙖𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙚 𝙤𝙛 "𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘽𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝" 𝙞𝙣 2000, 𝙩𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙨 𝙗𝙚𝙜𝙖𝙣 𝙛𝙡𝙤𝙘𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙈𝙖𝙮𝙖 𝘽𝙖𝙮 𝙞𝙣 𝙙𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙨, eager to see the stunning location from the movie. I was also there, vacationing with my family, witnessing the inevitable changes of the beach that I loved so much. 🥹

𝘼𝙩 𝙞𝙩𝙨 𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙠, 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙖𝙮 𝙨𝙖𝙬 𝙪𝙥 𝙩𝙤 8,000 𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙨 𝙖 𝙙𝙖𝙮. Boats crowded the waters, their propellers damaging the delicate coral reefs, while the beach was overrun with tourists snapping photos and selfies.
The impact of this mass tourism was devastating.
The once-vibrant coral reefs were nearly destroyed, with 𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙮 8% 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙘𝙩 by the time authorities intervened. 🆘

𝙄𝙣 2018, 𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙗𝙞𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙞𝙨𝙩 𝘿𝙧. 𝙏𝙝𝙤𝙣 𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙢𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙣𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙩 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙪𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙙 𝙖𝙪𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙖 𝙙𝙧𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙘 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙣𝙚𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙥: close Maya Bay indefinitely to allow it to recover. ⛔️

𝙁𝙤𝙧 𝙛𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙮𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙨, 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙖𝙮 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙤𝙛𝙛-𝙡𝙞𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙨.
During this period, Dr. Thon and a team of marine scientists undertook an extensive restoration project. They replanted over 30,000 pieces of coral, and although only about 50% survived, the reef began to regenerate naturally.

The results were astounding. 𝙒𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙖𝙗𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙨, 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙙 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙛𝙡𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙝𝙚𝙙. Black-tip sharks, clownfish, and lobsters now inhabit the bay once more. "Mother Nature is doing the job," Dr. Thon remarked. 🐚🦈

𝙄𝙣 𝙅𝙖𝙣𝙪𝙖𝙧𝙮 2022, 𝙈𝙖𝙮𝙖 𝘽𝙖𝙮 𝙧𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙙 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙩 𝙣𝙚𝙬 𝙧𝙪𝙡𝙚𝙨 to protect its rejuvenated ecosystem. Boats are no longer allowed to enter the bay. Instead, they drop passengers off at a jetty on the other side of the island, and visitors walk through a forested path to reach the beach.
Swimming is prohibited to prevent further damage to the coral reefs and to avoid disturbing the sharks.

While the number of visitors is now limited to 4,125 per day, 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙖𝙮'𝙨 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙗𝙚𝙖𝙪𝙩𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚 offer a glimpse of what responsible tourism can look like.

As I walked along the new boardwalk, on that serene morning on January 1st, 2022, the first day after the bay had reopened to the public, reflecting on the bay's transformation, I couldn't help but feel hopeful. 🙂
𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙚𝙛𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝘿𝙧. 𝙏𝙝𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙢 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙜𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙣 𝙈𝙖𝙮𝙖 𝘽𝙖𝙮 𝙖 𝙨𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚, we must now act wisely and keep the environment safe.

Back to the present days, 2 years after the great reopening of Maya Bay, this story should still serve as a powerful reminder that with dedication and care, we can restore and protect our natural wonders for future generations to enjoy.

If you’ve ever visited the Phi Phi Islands, 𝙎𝙃𝘼𝙍𝙀 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙥𝙝𝙤𝙩𝙤 𝙤𝙛 𝙈𝙖𝙮𝙖 𝘽𝙖𝙮 in the comments! 🎦💟

🏝 𝐈𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤: 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐖𝐚𝐞𝐤 🏝

You have to see Thale Waek with your own eyes, once in your life!

🏖 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙚 𝙒𝙖𝙚𝙠?

𝙄𝙩'𝙨 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙩𝙬𝙤 𝙞𝙨𝙡𝙚𝙩𝙨, 𝙘𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝙆𝙤𝙝 𝙏𝙪𝙥 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙆𝙤𝙝 𝙈𝙤𝙧, connected by a 70-meter-long sandbank that forms the perfect, softest, white sand beach during low tide.
But beware, it disappears completely at high tide!
So, Thale Waek could be considered a sort of Never, Neverland: 𝙞𝙩 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙜𝙤𝙚𝙨, 𝙞𝙩'𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙩 𝙞𝙨𝙣'𝙩. 👻

Another fascinating fact about Thale Waek is that the two islets are connected to Chicken Island by another sandbank, which also disappears at high tides.
You can walk across from Chicken Island (Koh Kai) to Koh Tub at low tide, but only during the lowest tide of the day.
𝙒𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙬𝙚 𝙗𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙩𝙤 𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙚 𝙒𝙖𝙚𝙠, 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙞𝙨𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙚, not just one!

👀 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙈𝙞𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙡𝙚 𝙎𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙗𝙖𝙣𝙠

In Krabi, Thale Waek is known as "The Miracle Sandbank".
𝘼𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙚𝙙𝙚𝙨, 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙚𝙖 𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙨𝙚𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙨, revealing a white sand and limestone beach that amazingly connects the two islands, and then, when the tide is at the lowest, the sand strip stretches to connect the third island, Koh Kai (Chicken Island).
𝙒𝙚 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙘𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙪𝙧𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨, therefore we might visit this incredible place first thing in the morning, or later on during the day.

In addition to the incredible scenery of the sandbank, 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙚𝙖 𝙗𝙤𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙨 𝙘𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙧, 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙦𝙪𝙤𝙞𝙨𝙚 𝙬𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙨 that are perfect for swimming, floating, and snorkeling.🐠

🛥 𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙩𝙤 𝙍𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝 𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙚 𝙒𝙖𝙚𝙠

Thale Waek and the nearby Poda and Chicken Island belong to Krabi province and can be easily reached by a 30-minute journey by long-tail boat from Ao Nang village.
𝙁𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙋𝙝𝙪𝙠𝙚𝙩, it's not possible to travel to Thale Waek by local wooden boat, but you can still spend a day island-hopping among the spectacular Krabi islands when you book 𝙖 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙚𝙙𝙗𝙤𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙥 like our Krabi Highlights Tour.

🌞 𝘽𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙏𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙑𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙩

Plan your visit between November and April, during the dry season, to enjoy optimal weather and water conditions. 𝙀𝙫𝙚𝙣 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙡𝙤𝙬 𝙨𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙤𝙣, though, it is still possible to enjoy the islands: 𝙬𝙚 𝙠𝙚𝙚𝙥 𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙚 𝙒𝙖𝙚𝙠 as part of our "Krabi Highlight" tour every Monday and Friday, weather permitting.

❓ 𝘿𝙞𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬?

In the past, tourists were able to pitch a tent and to stay overnight on the islands: they could count the stars on the waning nights or watch the moonlight on the full moon night. However, 𝙖𝙩 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙩, 𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙨 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙮 𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 on the islands due to the rising and falling water levels being considered a risk for safety, and to protect the eco-system from over-tourism.

❣𝙎𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙚 & 𝙀𝙭𝙥𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙚

Help us spread the word about this "miracle sandbank".
Share this post with your friends and family who would love to explore the beauty of Thale Waek.
