Dawn Hinds, a recent guest of ours, was treated to seeing four Dusky Langur (monkeys) in the bay. They are not common. Luckily, they didn't mind our quiet kayaks being near them, so they didn't flee. They are usually skittish.

My brother and sister-in-law came for a visit. We spent a couple of days in Phang Nga Bay. We saw a couple of other visitors at the cave on Koh Roi, but basically had the NE corner of the bay to ourselves.

During the pandemic shutdown, the Holiday Resort completely overhauled their facilities. The bungalows are nicer. The restaurant was completely rebuilt. And, they added a really nice SWIMMING POOL!

Not something that I recommend, but one of our guides (a park ranger, not our staff) did a cliff dive from quite high up into a small, but deep pool.

This is a wild banana. We have a bunch of them in our yard. They came up on their own.

A buddy of mine just watched the show I did with Henry Golding when he was still with the BBC... nice to know that's still getting some airtime. 😎 Horrible sound quality... sorry.

The best way to get proficient at fires is to practice with various fuel and in various conditions.
