"Thailand updates regulations to boost Super-yacht tourism"
As you might be aware, a key change of the regulations redefines the size of super-yachts: previously 30 m LOA and now 24 m LOA.
This long expected change is finally here.

This means Aphrodite, 28 m LOA, will now be able to charter in Thailand waters.
We believe Aphrodite offers a unique proposition of luxury sailing yacht charter around Phuket. Very few yachts compare in this part of
the world. She has no competition.
Our captain Bruce knows the waters intimately, Aphrodite is in super condition, and the professional crew offers a unique
experience.
It is unclear when the new regulations will apply. It will maybe be a bit late for the 2024-2025 season, but who knows.
In any case we follow up the matter closely and we will keep you informed.
In the meantime, after spending time in the Anambas islands this year, Aphrodite is planning a family cruise in the Mergui archipelago of
Myanmar in November 2024. We will sen you feedback of our experience. Charter in Mergui can be offered, as well as the Andaman
islands in India. (flights Singapore - Chennai and Chennai Port Blair) Later in 2025 she is planning a cruise to Palawan and Coron in
the Philippines. This is also an outstanding cruising and diving area.
