Now there are just 5 weeks prior to the last shipping time of the year so we would like to remind that the last week of international shipping will be week of December 9. Any coming orders must be completed by December 4, otherwise they will be suspended to mail out week of January 6.

We still accept orders to Canada and United Kingdom. Unusual warmer weather this year allow the transport continue, probably til end of November.

As always, plants are time-sensitive material and the early ceasing is the best way to avoid unexpected delays during holiday rush.

These unusual, broad leaf type of Ophioglossum pendulum, are our exclusive collection of primitive ferns, occurring in small population in upper Peninsular Malaysia. The fronds can grow to 4" across and 2 ft. long. We are supplying some to botanic gardens worldwide and anticipate to be available for retail sector next year.

Some assorted Vietnamese Primulina. These are large growers planted in 6" shallow pots. Most are currently over 10" in diameter.

We have been cultivating approx. 120 different specimens collected in North and Central Vietnam since 2010 and believe there would be more than a hundred species being discovered. The population in Vietnam is probably as much as the majority occurs in Southern China.

Smaller sizes of Angiopteris, The Giant King Ferns, are rarely seen offered. Most materials sold or exported are wild-collecting rhizomes that often have hassels with freight and/or import regulations. We are probably a few nurseries here produce these ferns by rhizome propagation, taking at least 10 months to reach marketable sizes as shown in the photos.

Artificial propagation saves nature population, pest-free and their smaller sizes allow shipping to be possible at much lower cost. Shown here are Angiopteris evecta and Angiopteris fokiensis we recently listed on the website.

Scaphochlamys biloba is another cool specie of Zingiberaceae from Peninsular Malaysia we have been growing. It is compact enough and has responded well in most terrarium types of culture. Our selection is longer, lancelate leaves type that occurs in small population. Available in February 2024.
