Forra Dive centre was established on Koh Lipe in 1997 and since 2002 is under the management of Antoine Pantelic , a French PADI, CMAS and SDI Instructor. Antoine has over 12000 dives on his record, 9000 of those in the South Andaman Sea. nt dive sites in the Butang archipelago and more generally in the South Andaman Sea. We have 3 dive boats: M/V Charan 5 "Mosquito", M/V Charan 9 "Green Manta" and M/V Charan 10 "Cargo Lounge" that we use for daily trips around the Butang Archipelago and for liveaboards in the South Andaman Sea. Every boat has a sundeck and toilets onboard. Forra diving offers you the chance to enjoy both fun dives, all major dive organisations and CMAS courses. All materials are available in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Swedish ,Thai, Chinese and Russian. We have a wide selection of new equipment ( Scubapro, Mares and Aqualung ) that is regularly maintained by our staff locally and by Dive supply in Phuket ( for the regulators ), by Marine Mechanic in Phuket ( for the compressors ) and ACE in Koh Lanta ( for the tanks ). Our international and Thai dive staff will make sure you get the best expertise and a great day around the dive sites of the Butang Archipelago. There are a large variety of dives with rich marine life for all levels of diver, from easy dives around vibrantly colorful rich soft corals and giant barrel sponges to the more demanding drift and deep dives for advanced divers. All dives and courses are under the direct supervision of experienced & professional Divemasters and instructors. For more than 25 years, we have been taking divers to all the best dive sites of the Tarutao Marine park like 8 mile Rock, Stonehenge, The Yong Hua wreck, Koh Sarang, Koh Pung, Koh Yang, Koh Adang and more than 20 dive sites around Koh Lipe.

OUR ECO LODGE RESORT ON SUNRISE BEACH

Forra Dive Resort Sunrise beach is located on the Northern end of Sunrise beach, next to Lipe Beach Resort and the traditional Sea Gypsies village. It is comprised of 18 bungalows built and disposed in circle around our central garden lounge resto area with wifi. It creates a real chilled out atmosphere where people can relax, read, work, spend time alone or with others and order food or a drink. This common area is surrounded by trees and plants and is all built with wood. the resort is situated 100 meters from the beach. Right on the beach, we have our big club house with the dive centre and our beach lounge resto bar. The view on the big island of Koh Adang is amazing. The island is 700 meters high and is covered in tropical primary and secondary rain forest. You can rent snorkeling equipment and sea kayaks from us and explore the best snorkeling and freediving site off Koh Lipe: Koh Kla which is just 200 meters away! Behind our 3 sea view bungalows, we have also 15 bamboo bungalows similar to the ones on Sunrise Beach. We have also garden and family bungalows on that side. The first three bungalows have a partial sea view as we have 17 meters on the beach. We have a beautiful tropical garden and big trees in between the bungalows. Right on the beach, we have our beautiful wooden club house with the dive centre, the deco bar and the excellent Italian restaurant "Kioskino" famous for its home made fresh pasta and much more...
