As you can see she is looking so much better.

Satang update.
You may have seen that Tang has not been well. She seemed, we think, to go down hill after the excitement of Loy Krathong.
Yesterday, after she was so lethargic at the Christmas dinner the night before we took her to the hospital.
She had an infected womb and needed urgent surgery.
Here she is, post op, still a little under the anaesthetic I think and ever so weak but she is responding, all good signs.
She is staying in hospital for a few day now to recover, each day another milestone passed.
The hospital is like the NHS of old when it come to visiting hours, none of this wander in when you want! Oh no, strict visiting hours and then only for 15 mins.
So the next update after Tang's next 15 minuets of fame.❤❤❤

Our friend Richard asked about the banana flower being axed. When the fruit starts to look weak, the flower is cut off leaving the remaining strong fruite to develop. Today we noticed the tree next to the one with the fruit is about to flower too.

Day 1, Friday, February 5 09:00- 24:00 There will be an agricultural exhibition and fair, the contest and exhibition of flower arrangement, decorative plants, and mini garden landscaping, local products fair, and music shows at Nong Buak Haad Park and Thapae Gate. 17:00 Opening ceremony of the 39th Flower Festival at Nong Buak Haad Park 19:00 - 23:00 Miss Flower & Miss International Flower Blooming Beauty Contests at Nong Buak Haad Park Day 2, Saturday, February 6 09:00- 24:00 There will be an agricultural exhibition and fair, the contest and exhibition of flower arrangement, decorative plants, and mini garden landscaping, local products fair, and music shows at Nong Buak Haad Park and Thapae Gate. 08:00 A parade of more than 25 fabulous flower floats starts from Nawarat bridge. The parade will go through Thapae road, Kotchasarn road, Changlor road, Arak road and ends at Nong Buak Haad Park. The official start of the parade is at 0800.
