Today we were at the event space of newly opening Avantgarde Refined Caves of Cappadocia Hotel, welcoming American Travel Writers. The biggest suprise was to meet and welcome our friend Eric Stoen after 5 years. Eric has written a great article on in Cappadocia. https://travelbabbo.com/cappadocia-with-kids/

Besides Eric there were other travel writers with great enthusiasm and knowledge on Türkiye and catching up with them, talking about travel and American travelers was very exciting and educational. Since there were no usual magical Cappadocia sunset I add few pictures from last week for exact same spot for the staff gathering of our friends from the hotel.

And a very busy weekend in Cappadocia with a lot of activities main event being the 11th addition of race with over 2000 runners from 72 countries tested their self endurance while enjoying beautiful scenery and terrain. Trail runners were lucky with gentle sunny weather. Our town Urgup was colorful, cheerful and busy busy with all hotels being fully booked. Besides the race; a medieval fair, sporting goods sales stalls, open air promo activities and all elevated the energy of the town and it’s residents and guests. After yet another successful event this year, we hope to see all runners back to Cappadocia again next year. Good luck to those still running and congratulations to all finishers and participants.

We just completed yet a great Incentive organization in Cappadocia.
Our guests were coming from all around Mexico for our partner incentive houses from Turkey - Dubai - Mexico.

Organizing a great incentive when sky is the limit is easier but at Travel Atelier, we also love to work around companies given budget and give them best possible options with surprises and additional services which they do not expect us to do.
We have been working on the project since the beginning of the year and when the day comes our team on the ground start the magic. We worked around the project with ideas, proposals and being both innovative and creative we have created the whole program of events with great care.

Hot air balloons are famous in Cappadocia and it plays an important role within incentive organization’s at least the whole group experiences a wonderful early morning balloon fiesta where about 160 hot air balloons fly at a time!

This time and first time on incentives; we have created another experience and we have used a giant hot air balloon as a prop and tethered it at the Love Valley where we have finished the 3-day program. It was obviously a wow factor which our partners and their clients were totally amazed. Well, it was a great teamwork from each side, thanks to our great local partners as well, for the successful completion of this important mission.

Nowadays we are receiving great message from our Guests, I wanted to share the last one which made our day. Message came to our operations manager who organized a family vacation to our Spanish guests for Greece and Turkey and all went flawlessly, Travel Atelier style.

We had a great evening with our Team and Argos Sales team at their newly opened restaurant. Nahita is truly a gourmet restaurant and their cuisine is based on not only special local products but has a story behind each meal, a menu of Turkish cuisine specials with a twist, definately a culinary journey everyone should experience while in Cappadocia. Service is also friendly and extraordinary we loved it. We had a lot to talk, discuss and learn from each other’s perspectives 😊 Thank you Ezgi & Cenk for your kind invitation and hospitality. We definitely catch up next time at our secret new found in Urgup and continue to our chats on weddings, banquets, hotel and hospitality and yes a bit of local gossip as well.

Private Touring in Istanbul with a twist. Our guests enjoy this magnificent city within their own pace with our flexible private itineraries; as clearly seen so our great guides as one can see. A private Bosphorus cruise with own guide is very relaxing so is educational seeing the traces of three emperor’s. A well chilled Turkish wine is just a good addition.
