A beautiful sunny day (a bit cold) and had to inspect the outdoor venue and its road, yes thats what the client wished 🥶😍 after the sudden snow two days ago we had to assess the situation with our caterers.
After the inspection this amazing venue’s owners and caterers in the same time; agreed cancelling their services without a discussion and gave us a go for another option which on previous inspection client also loved.
Than we switched to the new venue where both indoor and outdoor facilities are available, but ofcourse outside also under the snow….after we confirm we are switching to them; their team clear the floor from snow at no time. Later we ended up at amazing Museum Hotel owning this beautiful venue; to warm up and continue meeting for this last minute change and to talk about clients requests, menu and details. Friends at Museum Hotel management and F&B service heads are very flexible, comforting and helpful and knowing the case they support us every-way they can.

Thanks friends I am sure together we will pull a great & fun 10th wedding anniversary party for my guests 🍀🌷48 hours to go 3 days 3 events 🧿

Today we were at the event space of newly opening Avantgarde Refined Caves of Cappadocia Hotel, welcoming American Travel Writers. The biggest suprise was to meet and welcome our friend Eric Stoen after 5 years. Eric has written a great article on in Cappadocia. https://travelbabbo.com/cappadocia-with-kids/

Besides Eric there were other travel writers with great enthusiasm and knowledge on Türkiye and catching up with them, talking about travel and American travelers was very exciting and educational. Since there were no usual magical Cappadocia sunset I add few pictures from last week for exact same spot for the staff gathering of our friends from the hotel.

And a very busy weekend in Cappadocia with a lot of activities main event being the 11th addition of race with over 2000 runners from 72 countries tested their self endurance while enjoying beautiful scenery and terrain. Trail runners were lucky with gentle sunny weather. Our town Urgup was colorful, cheerful and busy busy with all hotels being fully booked. Besides the race; a medieval fair, sporting goods sales stalls, open air promo activities and all elevated the energy of the town and it’s residents and guests. After yet another successful event this year, we hope to see all runners back to Cappadocia again next year. Good luck to those still running and congratulations to all finishers and participants.
