Dear hikers, this week another fantastic fall colors trail awaits us.
Our hike will start from the Toprakhan area of Hatipli village. After walking through a short, narrow path at the beginning, we’ll continue on a mostly easy and comfortable trail.

We’ll slowly head down towards Sapadere Valley, enjoying the beautiful views and colorful plane trees along the way. The hike will finish in Sapadere village, where we’ll take a break for photos at the historic Herkül Bridge before returning to Alanya around 17:00.

🚭 Important Note:
🛤️ Our route mainly consists of wide dirt roads, with a short narrow sections its overall medium easy hike.
❗ In case of cancellation after 14:00 on saturday, regardless of the reason, the full tour fee must be paid.
🍵 There will be no break in the morning for breakfast make sure you have it, at home. Take snacks for lunch with you.
🔷 Please wear seasonal clothing and bring at least 2 liters of water, spare clothing, socks, a raincoat, hat, sunglasses, and suitable hiking shoes.

Photo Trip: Bozkır Dereköy Village - Bottomless Lake Village Market - Sesame Mill

Hello friends! Are you ready to discover the beauty of my hometown, Bozkır? On this tour, we will visit the famous local Market of Bozkır, Dipsiz Göl (Bottomless Lake), and the Dereköy Sesame Mill, We will also taste the famous foamy halva tahini that you can only find in my village.

We will depart from Alanya in the morning and stop for breakfast in Akseki. After breakfast, we will reach Bottomless Lake via the Alacabel Pass, where we’ll have the opportunity to take photos of the stunning lake view. Next, we’ll head to Dereköy and the Sesame Mill through the Bozkır plateaus. At the mill, there will be a tahini tasting and presentation. We'll also have the chance to take a short walk through the old houses in the village.

Our next stop will be the famous village Market in the center of Bozkır. Upon arrival, we’ll have free time for lunch and shopping. The Bozkır Market is one of the largest and most famous markets in the region, where nomads and villagers from Alanya, Manavgat, Akseki, and the Bozkır plateaus sell products such as cheese, butter, and honey. You can also find many items here, from clothing to dried legumes. We estimate our return to Alanya will be around 19:00pm.

🍂 Autumn Hike: Gazipaşa Maha Plateau - Darıderesi Valley

Hello, dear hiking and nature lovers! Join us for a peaceful autumn hike surrounded by beautiful fall colors. Walking under cedar, pine, oak, and centuries-old plane trees, we’ll explore the tiny yet impressive waterfalls of Darıderesi.

After leaving Alanyum, we’ll have a quick photo stop, then travel through Koçdavut Pass and Kaş Plateau to reach Seki Plateau, where our hike begins.

We’ll walk gently downhill for 5 km through the forest to Darıderesi Valley. Following the valley, we’ll reach Darıderesi Waterfalls for lunch and photos. Continuing our hike under the shade of ancient plane trees, we’ll make our way to Darıderesi Plateau.
The last stretch includes a short, partly steep 1 km climb, leading us to the final stop at Maha Plateau in Gazipaşa. 🕒 Estimated Return Time: 17:30

Prepare for a peaceful hike through the Ta**us Mountains, where the vibrant autumn colors will leave you in awe. Our journey takes us to the scenic Söğüt and İkievli plateaus of Alanya.

👣 We’ll enjoy a comfortable 10 km hike, mostly along wide forest roads with just a brief section on a goat path. You’ll have time to take photos and capture the beauty of the season.

🌿 Our hike begins on the upper side of Söğüt plateau, with a gentle climb along a dirt road. As we walk, the stunning autumn scenery will surround you, making it a perfect spot for a photo break.

We’ll then descend briefly on a goat path as we head toward İki Evli plateau. The trail continues along another dirt road until we reach the end of our hike. We expect to return to Alanya around 5:30 PM

Banlıca Plateau - Kozludere Waterfall Hiking Tour

Dear Famtours followers, we have another exciting route planned for this week.
In the morning, we will leave from Alanya and drive along the scenic Yayla road until we reach Kızılalan, also known as Kent Forest. Our first stop will be at a traditional Gözleme house, where we will take a tea break and have the option to enjoy some local snacks.

The trek will begin at Banlıca plateau, which is located at 1100 meters in the Taşatan region. As we start walking, the trail will gradually take us higher, offering beautiful views of the Taşatan Valley, Akdağ, and Susuz Mountain, as we reach 1300 meters.

After that, we will follow an easy downhill path for about 4 kilometers. Along the way, we’ll enjoy the peaceful nature of the Taşatan valley. The trail will lead us to Kozludere Waterfalls, a hidden and less-known waterfall. To reach it, we will walk along a narrow goat path for a short distance, which adds a bit of adventure to our trek.

Once at the waterfall, we will have time to take photos and enjoy the calm atmosphere of this special place. We aim to return to Alanya by approximately 4:30PM.

‼ Important Notes:
📌The entire track has wide forest roads, the beginning part has an ascent part which is not very difficult, the remaining part is a mostly flat and easy descent.
📌 We will have a break at the gözleme café in the morning. Please bring your own packed lunch for the afternoon.
❗ In case of cancellation after 12:00 on thursday, regardless of the reason, the full tour fee must be paid.
📌 Those prone to motion sickness should take necessary precautions and bring medication if needed.
📌 Please ensure your shoes are suitable for nature hikes.
🔷 Hikers should carry in their backpacks: 2 liters of water, spare clothes, socks, raincoat, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a pocketknife.

Keşbeleni Plateau - Kozarası Plateau - Kaplanhanı Plateau Hiking Tour

We are looking forward to a beautiful route covering three distinct plateaus of Alanya, walking with the stunning views of the Ta**us Mountains. With the cooler autumn weather settling in, we will enjoy the fresh air of the plateaus while discovering Keşbeleni and Kozarası and Kaplanhanı plateaus, relieving stress in nature.

Our hike will begin at Kaplanhanı Plateau, at an elevation of 1300 meters. We will ascend through the scenic plateau fields for about 1.5 km. After this point, the hike will be mostly flat, with slight ups and downs, leading us to Keşbeleni Plateau. After a rest at the gazebo on the plateau, we will continue walking on a relaxed path to Kozarası Plateau. There are three natural water springs along the route. Estimated return time is 17:00.

‼ Important Notes:
📌 A tea and breakfast stop will be taken at the gözleme restaurant in Kuş Yuvası.
❗ Cancellations after 15:00 on Saturday, for any reason, will require full payment of the trip fee.
📌 If you experience motion sickness, please come prepared.
📌 The majority of the trail consists of wide forest roads, making it an easy route to walk. Except for a short 1.5km ascent at the beginning, the route is considered easy.
🔷 Hikers should carry a 1-liter water bottle, spare clothes, socks, flashlight, raincoat, hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen in their backpacks.

Itinerary:
7:30 AM: Depart from Alanya.
Mid-morning: Enjoy a breakfast break in Akseki (extra).
Morning: Explore the picturesque village of Ormana, known for its over 300 restored and untouched historic houses. Immerse yourself in the village's cultural heritage and witness these timeless structures.

Head to the magnificent Altınbeşik Cave, home to the largest underground lake in the region, spanning over 2500 meters. Marvel at the breathtaking stalactites and stalagmites and witness the beautiful waterfall (common during spring). Explore the cave via a boat tour apx 20/30min

Lunch: After the cave visit, stop at a nearby restaurant for lunch (Extra).
Afternoon: Travel to Sarıhacılar Village to see the unique "Buttoned houses" - a traditional Ottoman architectural style. Learn the hidden secret behind their construction and stroll along the historic Seljuk roads.

Explore the village's authentic atmosphere offered by these historic houses, built with stacked stones and wooden frames crafted from tall cedar trees of the Ta**us Mountains. Return apx 18:00pm

Our hike, which started from Ahmetler Village, turned into an adventurous experience as the new forest road opened over the paths in the forest trails. At one or two points, we had to make risky descents, but thankfully the team passed through these sections without any issues. Despite the hot weather making it quite challenging for us, we cooled off in the ice-cold waters of the Karpuz River, and completed our hike accompanied by the stunning views of Murtiçi Canyon. Many thanks to all the friends who participated.

Ahmetler Village - Murtiçi Canyon Hiking Tour

Dear hiking lovers, this Sunday we are going on one of the most beautiful autumn routes, Ahmetler Village, walking along the stunning beauty of Murtiçi Canyon.

Our hike will start from the center of Ahmetler village. We will pass through the narrow streets of the village, known for its traditional button houses specific to the Akseki region, and connect to our main route.

The initial part of the route involves a relatively easy uphill section, followed by a forest trail descending to the canyon and Karpuz Creek. After a while, the goat path through the forest connects to a broader forest road, leading us to the valley.

We will walk along the river and cross to the other side (you may need to take off your shoes depending on the water level, so bring sandals; also, those who want to swim should bring a swimsuit). Our hike will continue along the river and end near the old Fırıfırı mill, where we will reach the final point with mostly flat or slight uphill terrain. Estimated return time is 17:30.

‼ Important Notes:
❗ If you cancel after 15:00 on Saturday, the full tour fee must be paid regardless of the reason.
📌 Most of our hike will be on wide forest roads, with 2-3 km of narrow trails, suitable for those with some walking fitness.
📌 We will take a break at a bakery in the morning. Please bring your own packed lunch for the afternoon.
📌 Those prone to motion sickness should take necessary precautions and bring medication if needed.
📌 Don’t forget to bring a swimsuit/shorts if you want to swim in Karpuz Creek.
