Two Options Event: Hiking Tour or Tokar Plateau Festival

Dear Famtours followers, this Sunday, we are hosting an event with two options. You can either join the Tokar Plateau Festival and enjoy a Turkish concert or take a delightful hike with us on the plateau trails.

We'll depart from Alanya in the morning, stop at Kuşyuvası for gözleme, then continue through Alanya’s Kaplanhanı, Gümüşkavak, and Söğüt plateaus to reach Tokar Plateau. Those attending the festival will stay at the plateau while we head to the Seki Plateau to start our hike.

We’ll follow forest and goat paths for 5 km to reach Sapadere Plateau, then walk another 5 km along the plateau road with views of Kaş Plateau to reach Karaköprü. We’ll take a break at the Tokar Plateau festival area before returning. Estimated return time is 18:30.

‼ Important Notes:
📌 We will have a breakfast stop at the gözleme place in Kuşyuvası.
🚫 Cancellation after 3:00 PM on Saturday, for any reason, requires full payment of the trip fee.
📌 This route is suitable for those with hiking conditioning and who can handle walking on narrow, rocky goat paths. It is considered easy except for the 2-3 km section.
⚠️ The roads to the mountains are generally winding, so those prone to motion sickness should remember to bring their medication.

Hello friends! Are you ready to discover the beauty of my hometown, Bozkır? On this tour, we will visit the famous Yoruk Market of Bozkır, the Seydişehir Lavender Garden, Dipsiz Lake, and the Dereköy Sesam Mill. We will also taste the famous foamy halva tahini that you can only find in our village.

We will depart from Alanya in the morning and stop for breakfast in Akseki. After breakfast, we will reach Bottemless Lake via the Alacabel Pass. Here, we will have the opportunity to take photos of the stunning lake view. Next, we will reach Dereköy and the Sesam Mill through the Bozkır plateaus. At the mill, there will be a tahini tasting and presentation. We will also have the chance to take a short walk in the village.

Our next stop will be the famous Yoruk Market in the center of Bozkır. Upon arrival, we will have free time for lunch and shopping. The Bozkır Market is one of the largest and most famous markets in the region, where nomads and villagers from Alanya, Manavgat, Akseki, and the Bozkır plateaus sell their products such as cheese, butter, and honey. You can also find many items here, from clothing to dried legumes.

Our last stop will be the Seydişehir Seda Lavender Garden, where you can take photos and shop for lavender products. We estimate our return to Alanya will be around 19:30.

Dear Famtours followers we've prepared a beautiful route for you this week. This route includes sections through forests and along old highland paths, offering the chance to cool off in the refreshing waters of Çayarası at the end of the hike.

Starting from Alanya's Dikmetaş highlands, we will first traverse wide forest trails. Then, we'll follow the old migration route to reach Gödüre highlands, located on the slopes of Çayarası. In the final part of our route, we will descend to Çayarası on wide forest roads and end the hike with a relaxing swim by the river. The estimated return time is 5:00 PM

Important notes:
🔍 We'll stop at a Gözleme (Turkish Pancake ) place for a break, but it's recommended to pack a lunch for the rest of the day.
📌 If you want to swim, dont forget to bring your swimsuits.

With the privilege of famtours, we are looking forward to another memorable sunset hike. We will enjoy walking in the fresh plateau air and take photos of the beautiful sunset scenery.

Our event will start near the Bucak Çökelesi Plateau at an altitude of 1400 m. We will first reach Bucak Çökelesi Plateau through forested trails and then arrive at the viewpoint where we will watch the sunset with a magnificent view of Dim Valley. After watching the sunset, we will have a comfortable walk to the end of our hike at Çökele Plateau. The estimated return time is 23:00.

Important Notes:
📌 There will be a tea break at a gözleme café along our route. Please bring snacks for the breaks.
📌 Smoking is prohibited during the hike (only allowed during breaks).
📌 Those who suffer from motion sickness should bring necessary medication.

Sharing photos from our fantastic tour to my hometown!
We explored Dipsizgöl Lake first, then a popular picnic area called Aygır Dibi. Following that, we visited a sesame mill and savored the delicious combination of tahini with foamy white halva. Finally, we explored the vibrant Bozkır bazaar, where everyone had free time for shopping and exploring.

It was an unforgettable adventure packed with unique experiences! A big thank you to all the amazing guests who joined us on this tour.

Asmaca Plateau - Köprülü Başyayla - Kozludere Waterfalls Hiking Tour

Calling All Hikers!
This week, we've got a fantastic route planned for you: a mix of narrow forest paths and wide forest roads, all nestled within stunning Cedar and Pine forests.

We'll drive along the Alanya Park Ormanı and Taşatan road to Asmaca Plateau. Our hike starts near the plateau with an easy climb for about 5 km. You'll be treated to stunning views throughout the hike.

First, we'll reach Asmaca Plateau, then continue through it until we reach the highest point of our trail, approximately 1600 meters. Take some time at the top to capture the beautiful scenery.

After enjoying the view, we'll descend through a beautiful Cedar forest. This section offers a mix of narrow paths and wider forest roads, covering an additional 5-6 km. It's mostly flat with a slight downhill slope.

Our adventure ends at Başyayla, the most beautiful plateau of Köprülü Village. On our way back, we'll take a short detour to visit Kozludere Waterfall. Expect a walk of a few hundred meters to reach the falls. We expect to be back around 5:30 PM.

Join us on wednesday June 5th for an exciting trip to explore the wonders of Altınbeşik Cave, Ormana Village, Sarıhacılar Village, and their surrounding areas!

Itinerary:
7:30 AM: Depart from Alanya.
Mid-morning: Enjoy a breakfast break in Akseki (extra).
Morning: Explore the picturesque village of Ormana, known for its over 300 restored and untouched historic houses. Immerse yourself in the village's cultural heritage and witness these timeless structures.

Afternoon: Head to the magnificent Altınbeşik Cave, home to the largest underground lake in the region, spanning over 2500 meters. Marvel at the breathtaking stalactites and stalagmites, and witness the beautiful waterfall (common during spring).

Explore the cave via a boat tour (extra)
Lunch: After the cave visit, stop at a nearby restaurant for lunch (included).
Afternoon: Travel to Sarıhacılar Village to see the unique "buttoned houses" - a traditional Ottoman architectural style. Learn the hidden secret behind their construction and stroll along the historic Seljuk roads.
Explore the village's authentic atmosphere offered by these historic houses, built with stacked stones and wooden frames crafted from tall cedar trees of the Ta**us Mountains. Return apx 18:00pm
