Once one of the most important trade routes linking the southern coast to the Anatolian hinterlands, this historical road served not just for commerce but also for cultural exchange and the safe travel of voyagers. Part of our hiking route follows these historic trails, taking us on a journey back to the Seljuk era.

🌉 Alara Ali Bridge
Located near Alanya, Antalya, this 13th-century Seljuk structure spans the Alara River. Built at a strategic point to ensure the safe passage of caravans, it connected Alanya to Konya and other significant trade routes. With its two grand arches, the bridge is a stunning reflection of elegant Seljuk architecture.

A Delightful Winter Hike in Alanya’s Snow-Covered Highlands
Sunday, January 5

For snow lovers, Alanya’s highlands are calling! Recent snowfall has created a breathtaking white landscape, and a delightful hike awaits you at Kaplanhanı Plateau.

Hiking Route:
The route winds through forest paths, surrounded by snow-covered trees and stunning natural views.
Depending on snow conditions, the trail will range between 10-13 km.
The hike will take place at an elevation of 1400-1600 meters, with a total elevation gain of approximately 400 meters, making it moderately challenging.

Important Notes:
Please bring warm, layered clothing, a hat, scarf, and appropriate hiking shoes to ensure a comfortable experience.
Before the hike, there will be a tea and breakfast stop at a gözleme café in Kuşyuvası area.
Please pack your own lunch for the hike.
