Gümüşhane kent merkezinden 37 km uzaklıktaki Sarçiçek köyünde, 1873 yılında Hacı Ömer Ağa tarafından ipek yolu üzerindeki misafirleri ağırlamak için bir usta ve çırağına yaptırılan 50 metre aralıkla 2 köy odası, Türk mimarısının erken örneklerini yansıtıyor.

37 km from Gümüşhane centre, in Sarçiçek village are 2 beautifully painted rooms.
It is told that Hacı Ömer Ağa, a merchant on the Silk route gave the order to a master and his apprentice who were allowed to paint the rooms independently from each other.
After 2 years the rooms were ready and when the villagers appreciated the work of the apprentice more..
The master sadly left the village …
