Having first started its operations in road freight with its own truck fleet, Transtas has adapted to its customers’ needs in the following years and become a full-scale service provider for logistics needs focusing on all modes of transportation: road, sea, air, and rail. Having added oversize and heavy lift cargo transportation to its services in the 1980s, Transtas has also become a trusted logistics provider for big-scale projects, serving them in all necessary steps through the extensive experience it has gained over the years. Since 2003, Transtas has undertaken the logistics services for 14 airport projects, and therefore has become an expert in airport construction logistics, leading the way in the international arena with the highest number of projects in this field. Transtas is an expert service provider fully capable of responding to all needs of the logistics sector with its own truck fleet of 37 and a wide range of special equipment such as ISO tanks. Halil Altındere’nin Sakıp Sabancı Mardin Kent Müzesi’nde açılacak olan “Motherland/Anayurt” isimli kişisel sergisinin sponsorlarından biri olmaktan mutluluk duyuyoruz.

Sergi, 11 Mayıs Cumartesi günü 18:00-20:00 saatlerindeki ön gösterimi takiben, 20:00-21:00 saatleri arasında gerçekleşecek Hey!Douglas performansıyla açılacak.

“Motherland/Anayurt”, Halil Altındere’nin 1990’ların sonundan bu yana, kendine has, sarkastik muhalefetiyle ortaya koyduğu yerleştirme, heykel, video, fotoğraf, tuval ve neonlardan oluşan çarpıcı bir seçkinin yanı sıra; son yıllarda ürettiği, Star Wars’un bilimkurgu evreniyle murakka ve minyatür geleneklerini harmanladığı eserlerini kapsar. İktidar yapıları, kurumlar, sınırlar, kimlikler, savaşlar, teknolojiler, gelenekler, gelecekler, popüler kültür ve alt kültürleri ele alan otuz altı eser arasında, son iki yılda yapay zekâ kullanarak, robotik örme tekniğiyle ürettiği militarist ikonografiye sahip halılarla birlikte, Mardin odağında ürettiği ve daha önce sergilenmemiş bir animasyon da yer alır.

Sanatçının yakın dönem içinde ürettiği ve Venedik Bienali’nden Gwangju Bienali’ne, Maxxi Müzesi’nden N.B.K Berlin’e pek çok önemli müze, kurumda gösterilen yapıtlarının yanı sıra, Afgan savaş halılarından ilhamla ürettiği halı serisi, geleneği gelecekle harmanladığı murakka çalışmaları Mardin’de ilk kez izleyici ile buluşacak.

Sergi, Sakıp Sabancı Müzesi ve PİLOT Galeri iş birliği ve Transtaş, Petrol Ofisi, MV Holding, CMC Holding, Stepevi, Teknosa, A4 Ofset ve Yaşar Holding desteğiyle üretildi.
