Our Story
Ephesus must be one of the major sites of the ancient world and this combined with the historic village of Sirince makes for an unforgettable holiday. Sirince Terrace Houses is a family run enterprise consisting of 3 heritage cottages overlooking the magnificent valley of Sirince, in other words, Ephesus on the hills. Olive House, Fig House and Grapevine House all have their own distinctive character unlike many Selcuk hotels. The cottages were lovingly restored over 6 years and visitors come from all over the world to enjoy these fully furnished homes complete with rustic antiques from around Turkey. Each house has a wood burning fireplace, luxurious bathroom, comfortable furnishings, a well equipped kitchen and large double beds as opposed to small bedrooms in apartment blocks which comprise the majority of Selcuk hotels accommodation. Music, filter coffee and a selection of teas are provided to make you feel at home right from the start and we supply our own organic olive oil for you to use in the kitchen. In the summer you can enjoy candlelit dinners under the sky in Terrace Café with unmatched views across the village to the hills beyond. In the winter you will be greeted by a fire and the cottages make an ideal romantic weekend break. Personal service and individualized homes for our guests sets us apart from the mass tourism catered for in many Selcuk hotels. Nevertheless its proximity to Ephesus makes it a perfect base from which to explore the many historic sites in the area as well as a place to relax in the rural beauty of an Aegean village.
