The fabric adorning our four poster bed in Grapevine house is a prime example of this passion (swipe ➡️). These original William Morris curtains were initially the living room centrepiece of English hotel owner Charlotte’s family home in Windsor. No surprise then that the four poster bed is home to the Windsor suite 🛏

Camel wrestling – yes it exists! 🐪The age-old Turkic tradition has a dedicated festival taking place across the country’s Aegean coast including Selçuk just 20 minutes away from Terrace Houses.

As opposed to popular conception that camel wrestling just like bull-fighting, c**k fighting or dog fighting is mans evil doing, the truth is that camels wrestle naturally during their mating season✨

While the festival was cancelled this winter, we look forward to the next time we join camel lovers in a vibrant stadium of singing gypsies and howling spectators to watch the extraordinary sport of wrestling camels adorned in jewels and headdresses.

Introducing Clockmakers house 🕰 - with the chirping birds and blue skies above, there’s no better time for a little inspiration.

When rebuilding the house on verge of collapse, we found a large numbers of clock pieces and it appeared that the man who lived here had been the local clock repairer, hence the name.

We teamed Ottoman style interiors with a collection of period artefacts, especially clocks for a distinctly rural feel.
