Enduro originated at the beginning of the 20th century. The first endurance-style race, known as an "endurance run," took place on July 4โ5, 1902, in the U.S., with a route from Boston to New York City. These races became the starting point of the enduro discipline as we know it today.
The First International Competitions
On July 8, 1904, the International Federation of Motorcycling Clubs (FICM) was founded. Later, in 1913, the organization introduced endurance tests as part of the first international six-day competition, known as the International Six Day Trial (ISDT).
