The infamous Stone Road - Taş Yolu - in our North Turkey Motorbike Tour.
It’s 8.7 kms of road with 38 unlit tunnels all carved into the side of a mountain - not for the faint hearted!

Who loves a motorbike adventure?

Well on our next motorbike adventure tour in October we will see the Sumela Monastery near the Black Sea Coast of Turkey.

The Monastery is situated in a steep cliff at an altitude of around 1200 metres above sea level.

It was built in 386AD and it was originally a Greek Orthodox Monastery built in AD386 and is now a museum.

To get to the Monastery we will ride on twisty roads through pine green forests until we come to Altindere National Park where the Monastery is situated.

It’s one of the highlights in the Black Sea Region. We’ll take time to explore and admire the views before riding to the city of Trabzon, on the Black Sea Coast.

Have you ever rode a motorbike on the Kemaliye Stone Road in Turkey?

It’s a biker’s dream road!

It’s an 8.7kms man made road which took 130 years to complete and has many sharp bends and cliffs along with 38 unlit tunnels of different sizes!

The road is less than 2 meters wide and the Euphrates river is hundreds of meters below so its not for the faint hearted!

The ride is spectacular and not to be missed!

It’s all part of our Black Sea Northern Tour Adventure which we have running this October!

We have a 14 day -13 night motorbike adventure which includes riding the amazing Kemaliye Stone Road.

If it’s taken 130 years to build this road it’s only fair we ride it!! 🏍️😎

We are!! Yep our 2023 Turkey Motorbike tour dates are out!

If you are desperate to ride but don’t have the time to plan we can help!

Day 9 and 10:Another South Turkey tour has finish with safe and sound. We are back to Antalya, drop the bikes back In one piece a d everyone are very happy. We have been riding last 10 days and cover around 2700km. We had so many nice days of adventure also lots of laugh and good time. Thank you everyone for riding with me also fallowing our tour from here. See you in next tour which end of April 2023.

Normally we would stay at a hotel where we always do but this time We have changed to another one and found a better hotel with an amazing lake view. Here are the pictures from today.
