Tratonikeia are the uncommon locations where the Republic of Turkey's urban fabric, archaic, classical, hellenistic, roman, byzantine, and ottoman architecture may coexist. With a 7-kilometer square size and a Hippodamic layout, Stratonikeia is one of the largest marble towns in the world. During the Hellenistic Period, it comprises of streets crossing in a grid arrangement running parallel to one another.
