The building is beautiful. Clean and calm atmosphere, instruction are clear. I took the traditional bath , you would be guided from the moment you open the door. Each is provided a private changing room with clean towel and slippers inside. The scrubber was amazing. Highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful intimate experience.

* Harbiye, Taksim, Beyoglu, or Galata - These are good neighborhoods if you want to be close to night-life, shopping, cinemas, busy restaurants, cafes and bars; mostly concentrated along the pedestrianized Istiklal Avenue .

* Sirkeci, Sultanahmet, Beyazit - This area is best if you want to be close to the historical sights such as Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque and Grand Bazaar. There are also many cafe and restaurants, carpet, jewelry and souvenir shops in the vicinity. Most hotels around here are boutique hotels. It’s not far from Taksim (roughly 4-5 km).

* Laleli, Aksaray - These are central neighborhoods and the hotels can be cheaper, but they’re generally of lower quality and the area isn’t as nice. (5-6 km from Taksim Square, 2-3 km from Sultanahmet Square)

"Average experience, but 6 times cheaper than a hammam in a tourist area. It cost us 330 lire each (€10 January 2024). Nobody speaks English. The massages are given to you by two fat older gentlemen. It's not the most hygienic thing you can imagine, but it's passable. For the price, I would repeat the experience, after all it is a local Turkish bath, and not something touristy and inflated"

Housing 866 tombs, which were unveiled as part of rescue excavations, Türkiye’s first necropolis museum continues to attract thousands of local and foreign tourists since its inauguration in November last year.
