In Turkey, Cuneyt has a unique combination of expertise, a professional tour guide in English, French and Turkish with over 25 years experience and a wine consultant specialising in wine and food matching. This has led Cuneyt to develop a unique and refreshing approach to discovering or learning more about this fertile crescent of land. ‘My discovery of wine and the education that followed changed my life; my view of food, art, history, culture and relations. This curiosity in wine and Turkey’s cultural history motivates me to share this joy with all those who come to visit Turkey or who call it home. Through the joy of story telling I love to guide people both into the past, through Turkey’s rich physical fabric of ancient artefacts, world heritage sites, historical buildings, patterns of culture but also and into the present through tastes, which open up and help them understand the life around them now' This passion in the spirit of guiding is underpinned through his qualifications and experience in both wine and tourism, showing why he is uniquely qualified to deliver such tours and events.
