Many people have asked about our saltwater pool. Don't worry! It's not sea water!
Saltwater pools have many benefits over traditional chlorine pools, including:
Gentler on skin and eyes: Saltwater pools have lower chlorine levels, making them less irritating to the eyes and skin.
Softer water: Saltwater pools produce softer water that feels luxurious.
Less maintenance: Saltwater pools require less maintenance than chlorine pools because the salt cells only produce chlorine when needed.
Natural exfoliation: Saltwater can exfoliate the skin and unclog pores.
Therapeutic for skin conditions: Saltwater can help with skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis, and acne.
Sanitary: Saltwater pools are just as clean and sanitary as traditional chlorinated pools.
Non-Irritating to the Lungs: Some people experience lung irritation after swimming in highly chlorinated swimming pools. This chemical can aggravate asthma and allergy symptoms and cause other breathing problems. If you or someone in your family is sensitive to chlorine, salt water is an excellent alternative. The soft, mild water alleviates many concerns associated with lung conditions.
Relaxing: Swimming is already a great way to relax, but swimming in saltwater is known to promote the body’s natural relaxation process even more effectively. Exposure to salt water can also soothe sore muscles and relieve pain and stiffness from arthritis.
