As we and many of our Guests around the world go into lock down over the coming weeks, our thoughts are with all those affected by the corona virus and with medical professionals across the world working tirelessly to contain it's spread.

We continue to follow the situation as it evolves and have thought long and hard about whether we should continue to post and about what. We finally decided not to add anymore to an emotionally exhausted narrative but we can no longer ignore the situation as it continues to unfold.

It is inevitable that small and large businesses will be impacted as a result of covid19 as will the global and economic climate. We have no doubt the season will be challenging here in Kalkan and we are deeply saddened for all those who operate in the tourism sector across the world and our beloved Guests who may have to forego or reschedule their travel plans.

We sincerely hope the recent measures put in place by the Turkish government and health professionals will contain the spread of cases and normality will resume in the not too distant future. In the meantime, HOPES and DREAMS will not be cancelled so with that in mind we shall continue to post about Kalkan and the wider region. After all, we are hoping this crisis is temporary and are optimistic to see many of you once life gets back to normal- whatever normal is.

We are absolutely delighted to reopen the doors in just under two months and unveil the result of this extensive refurbishment project. With the completion of the renovation in sight, we are pleased to provide an opportunity to sample Mavi Koy at some very special rates.

We are so serious about ensuring that all is perfect for our Guests, that for the first weeks of the season we are providing the opportunity to enjoy Mavi Koy at an exceptional rate ( reduction of £1,650 a saving of 30%).

These rates are available in order for the property to be tested for us ahead of the mid and high season period. All we ask in return is that Guests provide us with feedback at the end of their stay to allow us the opportunity to fine tune any little details ahead of our full paying Guests arrival in mid and high season.

May Price: £5,500 'Be the first to stay': £3,850 (The price is based on two person occupancy, additional Guests 2+years are £300 per person)
The following services are included with our compliments: Bed and Breakfast, Return Private Dalaman Airport Transfers, Chevrolet Captiva Jeep or equivalent, Welcome Hamper, Daily Water and Bread delivery Service and sea kayaks.

• Mavi Koy opens: 2nd May:

• All we ask is for feedback to allow fine tuning ahead of the arrival of our full paying Guests in mid and high season
