🍋 Hello, gunaydin and welcome everyone to Apartment Limon Kalkan . We hope you're good on what is a fresh, Saturday, November morning in our neck of the woods and it's the last day of November 2024! Can you believe it! Where has this year gone!? With just under 4 weeks remaining before the big day, it's full steam ahead as everyone is getting exited and pulling out all the stops to make it a good one.

🍋 Amazed by the ever-increasing number of likes and followers our page regularly receives, it really is encouraging for us as Limon continues to grow in the popularity stakes however, with many of you yet to book your break in the Kalkan sunshine, we do currently have a few dates remaining - see below.

🍋 In the meantime, in Kalkan, life continues, not quite as we remember it during the main season but non-the-less, it's a wonderland time of the year there as the people and places many of us have become accustomed to, continue to move forward with the seasons in their own imitable way. Some take a short, well-earned break to recharge their batteries in readiness for the new season and some remain open with their log burning stoves burning brightly keeping their visitors warm and still offering good food and excellent service as many businesses continue to extend the winter warmth of Kalkan to those who are lucky enough to enjoy all that Kalkan has to offer even at this time of the year. Whether it be enjoying the company; drink the wine; partake of the excellent food; attend the annual Christmas fairs; purchase the wonderful home cooked food, delicacies and gifts and Christmas decorations on offer and so much more, spending a late break in Kalkan enables you to simply enjoy a different kind of Kalkan. Sounds good doesn't it?

LOCATION

🍋 Kiziltas is beautiful ❤️ It spreads itself across the lower slopes of the Ta**us mountains. Its meandering streets are dotted with an array of villa's, apartments and hotels all with the most spectacular views, Limon being no exception. From Limon's wrap-around balcony and garden poolside terrace you can watch the boats coming & going taking passengers out for the day or water taxis ferrying holiday-makers to the beach clubs and various destinations from the harbour. You can see jet skiers; paragliders and water skiers by day and at night, as the clear night sky hovers overhead, you can take in the spectacular lights of Kalkan all lit up & glistening on star lit balmy evenings.
🍋 Kiziltas has a very light breeze which is quite comforting during the day and helps you cope with the intensity of the heat of the dazzling sun 🌞 Limon is south facing 😎 and consequently gets all day sunshine and enjoys the last of the sun with beautiful late sunsets. Limon's location is idyllic, situated in a residential area surrounded by beautiful apartments and villas all within a 7-10 minute walk of the centre of Kalkan Old Town, with all amenities at your fingertips.

🍋 Hello everyone from Apartment Limon Kalkan, we hope you have all had an excellent weekend.

🍋 In our house, we never feel better than when we have booked our flights for next year's holidays at our much loved Apartment Limon Kalkan and yesterday was the day we did just that, and with significant discounts available due to black friday offers, there was never going to be a better time to book! Yes, we know Christmas is just around the corner, but there's nothing like booking holidays is there, however far in advance they may be, and knowing you have something to look forward to. Even more importantly, especially when it's Kalkan and, with so many of you having already chosen Limon for your stay too next year, we are looking forward to the brand new season ahead already. A few little changes, ( you know what they say, a change is as good as a rest), and we're also working on a brand new information book which will be in situ to help you get started with all the information you could possibly need.

🍋 We have our Kalkan based management team who are on hand should you require their assistance during your stay which is always nice to know and you will have the opportunity to meet a member of the team shortly after your arrival at Limon should you have any questions.

🍋 The pool explained - Our stunning 10m x 5m infinity pool is shared with just three other apartments on what is a beautiful, peaceful, private complex. All apartments have their own sunbeds and umbrellas for the private use of their own guests. Please remember, it is possible for some of the apartments to be vacant during the time of your stay and you may find you have the pool and pool area all to yourselves as we have found on many occasions. Alternatively, if any of them are occupied, not all guests use the pool at the same time due to other plans such as boat trips; excursions; shopping days etc and in our experience, even when there are other guests around the pool, your privacy is still respected but after all, isn't it good to talk anyway?

🍋 FYI:- Our courtesy welcome pack consists of a few groceries such as tea, coffee, butter, fresh bread, jam, fruit juice and milk which will all be in situ on arrival as will a full bottle of water set up for you on the water cooler, all good to go. We also provide you with toilet rolls, dishwasher tablets, kitchen cleaning cloths and a tea towel. All of our extremely comfortable beds will be made up for your arrival with freshly laundered, white, cotton bed linen and piques. Towels and beach towels are also provided so no need to pack these and take up valuable space in your case. Oh, that goes for hairdryers too, not needed folks as each bedroom has its own.

🍋 Happy Monday and Gunaydin to all from Apartment Limon Kalkan , we hope you're good.

🍋 You could be forgiven for thinking the season is all but over in Kalkan for yet another year, but you know something, the summer season, May to October, may be over but there is still a lot going on in this beautiful place we call our second home.
Have you considered an out-of-season break in Kalkan, no? Well here's a little something for you to think about......

THE PLUS POINTS

* Kalkan is still enjoying lots of sunshine and warm temperatures

* Many shops are still open

* There are many restaurants who remain open providing food, drinks and all offering that relaxing ambience we have all come to love and enjoy, with a number of them already advertising their forthcoming events and their Christmas and New Year Menus, a time of year recommended by many during which, to be in Kalkan.

* Temperatures may be somewhat cooler but with lots of indoor dining opportunities, log burners a plenty and outdoor heaters all fired up making the atmosphere even more cosier, don't you just want to be there already?

* What of flight's? With EasyJet releasing yet more flight's tomorrow for 2025, you should be able to make a few comparisons and see what's on offer. Airport transfers are also available.

* Choose your accommodation wisely and avoid any building works

* beach clubs will be closed and pools emptied, (unless heated of course), but do you really need these when there is so much out there to enjoy? Just saying .....😉

🍋 Hi everyone from what has been a sublime, sun-kissed October here at Apartment Limon Kalkan Kalkan.

🍋 From Limons spectacular viewpoint, we never tire of the magical view of the early morning sunrise that starts each day as the sun steadily makes it way across the bay and then later, on witnessing the most incredible sunsets with it's unimaginable hues of orange, reds and crimson as the sun says farewell at the end of the day.

🍋 As we draw ever nearer to the end of yet another action-packed season, like many homeowners I'm sure, here in Kalkan, we would like to say thank you to those people who keep Limon special.

Sharon & Rami Uslu of Kalkan Property Management, our management Company, who look after Apartment Limon and our guests so well.

Firat Uslu, who maintains the stunning infinity pool, surrounding gardens, outdoor lighting and so, so much more for us.

Limon is still bursting with lots of autumn colour today

🍋It's a humdinger of an October day here in Kalkan ladies and gentlemen, a mere 29°, the sun is blazing and, here at Apartment Limon Kalkan, as we relax around the pool with no other guests in sight, there is a calm stillness about the place with the lightest of breezes in the air. The view is spectacular as the suns intensity shines brightly upon the surface of the water, a parasailer, with it's brightly coloured parachute behind it, glides across the bay, the call to prayer has been made and daily boats can be seen making their way homewards once more.

🍋Many times people ask if October is a good month to visit Kalkan & hand on heart, I can honestly say, absolutely!

🍋Kalkan is busy but not packed, the atmosphere is still buzzing, restaurants remain busy but not always a necessity to book, market day is still full-on, full of people having a good time.
There has never been a better time to holiday.

🍋 Here at Apartment Limon Kalkan, we have been having yet another excellent season as year on year we're pushed to new heights with more and more of you booking your stay at beautiful Limon. ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS *****

Well… we’re booking again, that probably says it all!

We visited Apartment Limon in April as a family of five adults. Apartment Limon arranged all transfers for a seamless and stress free arrival (and sadly, departure!).

Everything that we had seen of Apartment Limon before our holiday was exactly as it was in the pictures: welcoming, clean and with beautiful views.

The apartment is a great size, comfortably accommodating five adults and it could have easily taken more of us. The kitchen is well equipped (although we didn’t cook much as there were too many lovely places to eat in Kalkan!) and the living areas are spacious. There was a welcome pack ready with bread, eggs, milk and jam, so we could enjoy ‘breakfast with a view’ on our first morning. There is also a water cooler in the apartment for use. The bedrooms were all beautifully presented, with plenty of bathroom facilities to go round. The linen and towels were fresh, with it being clear that those looking after Apartment Limon love it as much as we now do.

The pool area and garden are very well looked after, and the sun beds are extremely comfortable for those afternoon siestas! The pool is not heated, but this did not make it uncomfortable to swim in, and we were pre-summer! I can only imagine how lovely the pool would be when the temperature rises!

Apartment Limon is a short walk down some short, but quite steep, roads into Kalkan itself. If steep is not for you, then taxis were easily ordered and readily available in Kalkan for the return journey (we definitely opted for that!). Kalkan itself is a great place, with really stunning views and beautifully clear water! What really stood out was how well looked after we felt when out in Kalkan. There’s an abundance of great restaurants, it’s almost a little hard to choose where to eat at times, but we managed…!

All in all, Apartment Limon comes highly recommended and I’m sure we’ll be back, time and time again.

🍋 We offer 3 fully equipped, spacious bedrooms accommodating up to 6 people, (2 with en-suite shower rooms), consisting of 1 king size bed, 1 double bed and a twin bedroom with 2 single beds which can easily be converted to a double if required. Each bedroom has plenty of storage space with wardrobes and dressing tables in each including hairdryer, ladies, stored in each dressing table. All towels including beach towels are provided. All the beds have comfortable mattresses made up with freshly laundered white, crisp cotton bed linen to keep you cool and ensure you have a good night's sleep during the warm, balmy night's. In addition, our apartment has air conditioning throughout on both floors, (i.e ground and first floor), and cool travertine tiling to keep you cool. All the bedrooms at LIMON are located on the ground floor and each has its own direct access to the pool; sunbathing terraces; outside dining areas and gardens.

🍋 *We offer you a well stocked kitchen with ample crockery and cutlery to meet your needs with that all-important dishwasher to pile it all in whilst you lie outside in the sunshine and relax. Just as holidays should be. A dining table seats six;comfortably; a large upright fridge freezer; gas hob; electric oven; microwave & beverage making facilities are just a few of the items provided for you to store and cook as you wish whether you choose to dine in or out. Why not do a little of both. At LIMON APARTMENT you can choose to eat indoors in the spacious open plan kitchen/diner; outside on the first floor wraparound balcony with its spectacular views; outdoors in our very own private dining area on the ground floor surrounded by beautiful gardens or perhaps poolside in the communal dining area. (Don't worry, you are likely to have it all to yourselves for most of the time).

🍋 Our stunning infinity pool is the piece de resistance. Situated on a very spacious south-facing sun terrace with ample space for sunbathing on one of our six sunbeds with cushions, umbrellas and towels for your private use. It offers you a place to cool off in the heat of the day. The pool is shared with just three other apartments, however, the complex is small, private and is ideally located in a peaceful residential area and more often than not, this stunning facility is all yours to enjoy with no time restrictions on its use. So, if an early morning swim before breakfast is your thing, then be our guest. LIMON APARTMENT is just a short, comfortable 7-10 minute walk door to door into Kalkan Old Town and a 2-3 minute taxi ride back for a very small charge, ( 120tl as in June 24). What's not to like? On your return to LIMON, why not continue your evening on the terrace poolside and have a drink or two whilst taking in the sparkling lights of Kalkan hovering below the warm, late night air.

🍋 A welcome grocery pack will be in situ on your arrival and fresh water also provided to ensure you have the best start following your long journey and offer you some respite until those all-important groceries can be ordered or bought the next day

🍋 The apartment will be cleaned weekly, (usually a week on from the day of your arrival), during which all bed linen will changed and you will be provided with fresh towels. Please note, beach towels are provided and all sunbeds have their own towelling covers and headrests
