Maybe you have heard of the earthquake disaster in our country, maybe you will know after this message, 2 very large earthquakes occurred in Turkey on 06/02/2023, 9 hours apart and caused great destruction, the first earthquake occurred at 04:17 in the morning. While people were sleeping, the first earthquake had a magnitude of 7.7. The second earthquake occurred at 1:24 in the afternoon and its intensity was 7.8 and with this earthquake, great destructions occurred in 10 big cities. People in the earthquake area cannot enter their houses because all of the houses were damaged and in Turkey we are in the winter season and those regions are really cold, the estimated number of people living in 10 cities is 13 million, which means a very large area. No matter which country in the world has such an earthquake, it will be very difficult to help, and no country can help such an earthquake alone.
I hope that such a disaster does not happen to anyone.
Search and rescue teams came to our country from many countries of the world and first of all I would like to thank you for this.
Search and rescue efforts are still going on and the death toll is high, there are too many people waiting to be rescued.
On the other hand, there is a shortage of accommodation for the survivors, food, water, blankets, coats, heaters, children's food and many other materials are needed.
The government, civil defense organizations and everyone in our country are helping, but unfortunately the aid is insufficient, such natural disasters can happen to all of us.
