SUMMARY

The Civil Engineer will be involved in marine and onshore construction projects from concept design to onsite project delivery. The Engineer will oversee onsite deliverables, support to tender processes, develop construction methods and work towards solving engineering problems and challenges.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist on coastal and onshore projects, examples include: breakwaters, berthing structures, dredging, piling and foundations
Ensure project deliverables and maintain project schedule
Provide inputs into proposals for projects
Undertake preparation of construction documentation, such as technical specifications, request for proposals, reports and schedules
Review and resolve client’s comments during tender process
Prepare and submit modification proposals to project during construction
Interaction with specialised subcontractors, suppliers and equipment vendors
Perform other related duties as required and assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
Minimum 3 years of experience ( Coastal works and Foundation experience will be an asset)
Experience in preparation of construction drawings and specifications
Excellent writing and communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Organizational ability– able to plan, prioritize, organize and monitor activities and projects
Flexible to travel
