We recently had the pleasure guiding the Parvati Girls Hindu School to Trinidad’s highest single flow waterfall. At approximately 300 feet, this waterfall is unique on island and a must see for those seeking a little adventure or visiting Trinidad for the first time.

With very little rainfall or fresh water, the Amerindians presence on Gasparee island (Gaspar Grande) was non existent or temporary at most. Granted to Gaspar Percin de la Roque in 1783, the island was good for very little else besides growing sea island cotton. Cotton being the main cash crop of the colony at the time.
