As we draw close to yet another year, we would like to express our sincerest gratitude to all of you who have traveled from near and far to fish with us in 2024. Many of you for the first time, and many of you that have been coming here for over 15 years. We enjoy spending time and fishing with each and everyone of you. To my crew and partners that keep us on the water and operating at the highest standard… Thank you for all your continued hard work, and in making an angler’s bucket list trip a successful reality.

The gold standard when it comes to chasing silver!

“Getting ready to head home from 4 days of awesome tarpon fishing with MonstaTarpon. Just wanted to share a few thoughts of our experience. We travel all over the world chasing the best fishing and adventures….We had an incredible trip here in Trinidad. Seamless, accompanied airport transfers. They had us to the island lodge in no time. We were greeted upon arrival with cold beers and some cooked up finger foods. All of us settled back and took it all in. We opted to stay in the lodge as opposed to the marina hotel. I’m all about convenience. We were all impressed with the accommodations and service. Amazing food. Stefan the chef kept us fat and happy. Probably one of the best meal services I’ve ever had traveling abroad fishing. Wide variety and plenty of portions. The lodge is great as well. Clean. Hot showers. And frigid cold air conditioning. Top notch for the traveling fisherman. There isn’t anything more you need.

As for the fishing…

We are typically lure fisherman…but none of us have ever caught a tarpon.

We weren’t expecting to have as much fun as we did. It was an absolute riot. We fished for 4 days and landed roughly a 100 tarpon. And lost quite a few more. Fish up to 150lbs. My friends and I loved every second of it. Big fish. Lots of action. Big jumps. Big laughs!The backdrops and scenery were amazing as well.

Capt Jonathan and his crew provided an epic trip.
Boat was well stocked with cold drinks and beer. Multiple sandwiches for when anybody was hungry. And most importantly. They fished hard. Really hard.

Ed came down from Daytona Beach with his wife Nina to pop his Tarpon cherry. He has tried many times elsewhere but decided he would go with the sure thing this time instead. Lovely 3 days spent with them here in Trinidad.
