**In Memoriam: Lindy Ann Bodden-Ritch**

St. Mary’s College mourns the loss of Lindy Ann Bodden-Ritch, who served as our devoted music teacher from 1970 to 2000. For three decades, Lindy Ann’s passion, dedication, and extraordinary talent shaped the musical journey of countless students. Her legacy lives on in the harmony of the choirs she directed, the confidence of the soloists she mentored, and the triumphs of the duets and trios she guided to victory at numerous Music Festivals.

Lindy Ann’s unwavering commitment to excellence led our students to win many trophies and distinctions, making St. Mary’s College a beacon of musical achievement. Her influence extended beyond technical skill; she instilled a love for music, a sense of discipline, and an enduring appreciation for the arts in all who were fortunate to be under her tutelage.

As we reflect on her profound impact, we remember Lindy Ann not only as a teacher but as an inspiration. Her presence will be deeply missed, yet her spirit will continue to resonate in the halls of our college and in the hearts of those she touched.

Jaylon Roberts won 2nd place in the World Day of the Boy Child essay writing and oral presentation competition hosted by NALIS.

World Day of the boy child, celebrated annually on May 16th, was founded by Dr. Jerome Teelucksingh in 2018 to address issues related to the welfare of boys .

The theme for this year was " Cool Boys; Teaching Boys How to Manage Anger and Aggression. Jaylon's video monologue " Pace Yourself' was shown at NALIS prize giving ceremony along with presentations from other finalists across the nation
