This tour of Europe is a perfect introduction, ideal for first timers or those who want to do as much as possible in 7 days. Visiting 5 countries you will see all that Paris has to offer, have fun in the snow in Switzerland, cruise the Rhine Valley and the canals in Amsterdam and even have time for lunch and chocolates in Bruges on your way home. Lots of other experiences included and great value for money.

Day 1: Visit Paris
Leaving London behind us, we make our way to Paris, crossing the Channel and arriving in the ‘City of Lights’ in the afternoon. Your tour leader will lead you on a driving tour of this famous city. Get your cameras ready – you’ll be seeing some of the city’s most treasured landmarks, including the Eiffel Tower! Make a note of your favourites, as tomorrow you’ll be able to explore the city in far more detail. After checking in to the hotel, we’ll travel to the hilltop region of Montmartre for dinner, a refuge for artists and bohemians in Paris’ glory days, an area whose cobble-stone streets have seen their share of famous faces over the years. Enjoy views of the city from the white stone steps of the Sacre Coeur, and take the chance this evening to explore the nightlife on the nearby Boulevard de Clichy, home to the world-famous Moulin Rouge!

Day 2: A free day in Paris
Today is all yours to explore as you wish. Take a look at our optional excursions – enjoy a cruise up the River Seine, and head up the tower of Montparnasse for exquisite views of the city, the perfect way to see Paris at its best. Visit L’Opéra Garnier, the Tuileries Gardens, Place de la Concorde, Hotel de Ville, the River Seine, l’Ile de la Cite or the Louvre Museum. Get a glimpse of that most famous avenue, the Champs Elysees, overlooked by the famous Arc de Triomphe. Feel like shopping? Why not head to the boutiques of La Marais? Or visit the graves of Oscar Wilde and Jim Morrison at Père Lachaise Cemetery? Those with a taste for the macabre can even descend to the infamous catacombs! Alternatively, stay above ground and explore the museums, people-watch from a roadside café, or simply stroll the city, following in the footsteps of great painters, musicians and writers.

Day 3: Visit Switzerland
It’s an early start this morning as we continue on to our next stop in the Swiss Alps. Arriving in the late afternoon, we’ll wind our way through dramatic Swiss mountain scenery – look out for quaint villages, snow-capped mountain peaks, delightful homesteads and rolling hills as we climb higher into the mountains. We’ll stop for the night in the Jungfrau region, one of the most beautiful regions in the Alps.

Day 4: A free day in the Swiss Alps.
The splendour of the Alps is yours today – don’t miss the chance to join our optional excursion up to Jungfraujoch, the highest train station in Europe! The trip to the top is a real highlight; you might find yourself pressed up against the windows as the picture-perfect Swiss countryside rolls beneath you. Look out for quaint villages nestled in the valleys beneath snow-capped peaks and tumbling mountain waterfalls. Once we’ve reached the top, enjoy the year-round snow and breathtaking views of the surrounding glaciers and craggy mountaintops. Once you’ve had a chance to explore and capture as many photos as possible, it’s back down to lower altitudes for the rest of the afternoon. Take the chance to head into nearby Interlaken to see the lakes of the region, shop for chocolates and cuckoo clocks, or have a fondue!

Day 5: Visit the Rhine Valley
This morning we board the coach once more as we make for Germany’s famous Rhine Valley! Relax on board a Rhine riverboat as we head to our hotel in the heart of the Rhine Valley. This is the most concentrated stretch of castles in all of Europe, and it also features vineyards, charming medieval towns and lofty cliffs. Learn the story of the castles, many of which are now in ruins since the river barons left long ago. Once the cruise is over, enjoy a traditional German dinner, then walk it off with a stroll along the riverside. The perfect end to the day!

Day 6: Visit Amsterdam
The Netherlands is our next stop, and we arrive first at the windmill. Following that enjoy a traditional cheese-making demonstration, and learn about how that most quirky and quaint of footwear choices – the clog – is made, before travelling onward to Amsterdam. We’ll check in to our hotel before joining a Amsterdam canal dinner cruise! Get on board and get those cameras ready; this is the best way to experience the city of Amsterdam, with its 17th century architecture, fascinating museums and cafes. Watch the city drift past as you sail by, and listen out for tips and interesting insights into the city from your tour leader. Later on, you have the option to join your tour leader for a walking tour of the infamous Red Light District! The evening is yours – explore the canals and Dam Square, and enjoy your time in this fascinating city.

Day 7: Visit Bruges and return to London.
After breakfast, we bid farewell to Amsterdam and make our way back to London via the Belgian city of Bruges. Famous for its beer, waffles, chocolate and moules et frites, this is definitely a good place to be if you’ve brought your appetite. An extremely popular medieval city with no shortage of cobblestone streets, historic old churches and lofty towers, this is a great city to explore and a good spot to pick up any last-minute souvenirs. Once you’ve had a look around, it’s back to the coach for the final leg of our journey back to London.

DAY 3, Old Dubai Tour
This morning, visit the Dubai Museum in the Al Fahidi Fort. Continue the tour through the cloth markets and end up at the Abras, where local water taxis will take you across the Creek to the area of spice and gold souks. Walk through the bustling alleys of these souks. Afterward, to the Bastakiya area where old wind-towered houses of wealthy merchants can still be seen. While in the area, you're invited to the important Sheikh Mohammed Centre in the heart of the old Bastakiya area for a specially arranged local Emirati lunch and meeting. Enjoy an open discussion and learn more about Emirati culture and local traditions. Return to the hotel before an orientation meeting with your Tour Manager followed by dinner

DAY 4, New Dubai Tour
Begin with a photo stop at Dubai's signature landmark, Burj Al Arab, the celebrated sail-shaped hotel facing the Persian Gulf. Continue to the Jumeirah Palm, a man-made island, which was built in the shape of a palm tree, known for its posh residential buildings, villas, and luxury resorts. Upon entering the island, board the Palm Monorail which will take you to the far end of the palm. Continue on Sheikh Zayed road to visit Burj Khalifa. While at the top, a guide will help answer all your questions from your vantage point on level 124 of the building. Free time for lunch in Dubai Mall

DAY 5, Saturday - Full Day in Dubai
Spend the day at leisure or, participate in the optional tour to Sharjah in the morning, a cultural center of the Emirates. As you begin your tour, you will have the opportunity for a photo stop of the cultural square. Then, visit the Islamic Museum, housing over 5,000 artifacts from all over the Islamic World and the Heritage Museum depicting Sharjah's rich and diverse heritage. In the afternoon, perhaps join the thrilling optional Desert Safari. Board a 4X4 vehicle in Dubai and head out towards the highest sand dunes of the surrounding desert. Feel the thrill of "dune bashing" as you spiral up and down the dunes. Upon your arrival at the Bedouin campsite, you'll be welcomed with traditional Arabic coffee and will have the option to ride a camel. Then, enjoy a barbecue dinner and a Tanoura dance show before returning to Dubai

Drive through al Bateen area and stop at the Zayed House for a sneak peek into the life of the late Sheikh Zayed, 'Father of the Nation'. Continue to the Emirates Palace and the Etihad Towers for a photo stop. Drive along the city's Corniche and stop at the Breakwater, to take photos of the skyline. After lunch admire cultural art at, the Louvre Abu Dhabi. Head back to Dubai via Yas Island, the home of the F1 Circuit and Ferrari World Theme Park. Day 1: Start of tour in London

Welcome to London and the first day of our tour to Europe! Arrive at the hotel where you will meet up with the rest of the tour group. Kick the adventure off with an orientation tour of Greenwich and a cruise along the River Thames which will showcase London’s most famous sights including Tower Bridge and Big Ben! Enjoy an afternoon to explore this bustling city. See the city on your own or join an optional walking tour featuring the Highlights of Westminster. Meet up with your fellow travellers in the evening for a group dinner at a local pub - tonight is your chance to try classic British pub fare! Dinner included!

Day 3: Paris - Free Day

The wonderful thing about Paris is that it there is so much to experience, regardless of the time of day, or season. You can explore on your own and soak up the city or join a full day of exploration in Paris! The Paris+ excursion will take you to all the iconic sights including the Tuileries Gardens, the Louvre, Notre Dame Cathedral and much more! You will also cruise down the River Seine with an included lunch and get a bird’s eye view from the Montparnasse Observation Deck. In the evening, you have the option to watch a cabaret show or join an evening tour of the fabulous Montmartre area. Breakfast included!

Day 4: Paris - Burgundy - Swiss Alps

Au revoir Paris! Today we sample a taste of small-town France with a lunch stop in Burgundy. In the town of Beaune you can visit the beautiful Hospices de Beaune, or try the famous wine. After lunch, we take a long scenic drive across the border into Switzerland and head towards the Swiss Alps for our stay in a typical alpine resort town. Welcome to the Swiss Alps, your home for the next two days! Breakfast and Dinner included!

Day 5: Swiss Alps - Free Day

It’s a guaranteed snow day! For 365 days of the year, the summit of Jungfraujoch is covered in snow. Your tour leader can arrange a full-day optional excursion to the “Top of Europe” - see the spectacular glacier and enjoy the incredible views! The journey up the mountain is a highlight in itself, providing panoramic views of mountains, lakes and glaciers. Alternatively, spend the day exploring at a lower altitude. Explore the local town, enjoy sight-seeing, souvenir shopping and don't miss your chance to indulge in Swiss chocolate! Spend your free day wandering and breathing in that crisp, fresh, Alpine air! Day 6: Swiss Alps - Pisa - Tuscany

It’s time to swap snow for gelato as you continue your European tour from your mountain adventure towards stunning Italian vistas. Capture your iconic shots at the Leaning Tower of Pisa! A World Heritage UNESCO Site, The Leaning Tower is visited by tourists from every corner of the globe and is one of the most popular cultural European landmarks. Onwards to the exquisite Tuscan region - famous for wine, food, art and architecture. You will settle in Montecatini Terme, a spa town north-west of Florence. Time for a local wine or two. Day 7: Tuscany - Florence - Rome

Continue the journey through the beautiful Tuscan region. Today’s first stop is Florence. Enjoy an orientation tour of this captivating Renaissance city that is famous for its art and history. Following Florence is Italy’s capital city - Rome! Arrive and enjoy free time or choose to join the Vatican City guided tour this afternoon. Visit the Vatican City to explore the smallest country in the world, see the famous Sistine Chapel (don’t forget to look up and marvel at the famous ceiling painted by Michelangelo!) and much more. Meet up with the group in the early evening and enjoy an included dinner. Breakfast and Dinner included!

Day 8: Rome - Free Day

Today is a free day for you to experience Rome's ancient history, exquisite culture and delicious food. The Colosseum is spectacular, offering an unbelievable feeling of drifting backwards in time, to when gladiators, chariots and lions dominated the arena. Your tour leader can arrange for a combined tour of the Colosseum and Roman Forum with an expert local guide. You also have the option of joining our 'Conquer the Capital' excursion, seeing sights including the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and Pantheon, and enjoying a delicious lunch and gelato tasting. Breakfast included!

Day 9: Rome - Venice

Take note of the scenery as we make our way to Venice as the diversity of the Italian landscapes will continue to impress. Venice is a unique city, perched across 118 islands, and known for its canals, gondolas, Venetian masks, piazzas, art, traditional glass and lace making. Your tour leader will introduce you to the city with an orientation walk, see the world-famous St Marks Square, Grand Canal and Rialto Bridge. The evening is yours to wine and dine. Then, explore Venice the traditional way - from the canals. Your tour leader can arrange for gondola and water taxi rides that give you a completely different perspective and appreciation for the amazing structure of this unique destination. Day 10: Venice - Munich - Nuremberg

Guten tag! It’s time to travel to Germany. Today’s first stop is Munich which is the vibrant capital of Germany’s Bavaria region. While Munich is most well known for being home to Oktoberfest, the city has a long, storied past filled with fascinating history. Enjoy an orientation tour of Munich with your tour leader to see the highlights and learn more about the modern and ancient history of this city. Tuck into dinner in a traditional German beer hall this evening. Tonight’s overnight stop is Nuremberg - a deeply historic German city that was largely rebuilt after WWII. Breakfast and Dinner included!

Day 11: Nuremberg - Rhine Valley - Amsterdam

The German adventure continues this morning! Leave the historic sights of Nuremberg behind and head towards the enchanting Rhine Valley. Arrive in one of the most picturesque areas along the Rhine River and enjoy an included lunch. After lunch, you’ll have time for a spot of shopping. Take a look at handcrafted cuckoo clocks and beersteins - great souvenir ideas! Next up, enjoy a stunning cruise along the Rhine River. This part of the valley is home to the most concentrated stretch of castles in Europe! Take in the views of the striking cliffs, medieval castles and historic vineyards along the river banks. Afterwards, the journey continues to Amsterdam. Arrive in Amsterdam later tonight. Get a good night’s rest tonight for a full free day of exploring tomorrow! Breakfast and Lunch Included.

Day 12: Amsterdam

Get ready to explore the delights of Amsterdam today! Get acquainted with the city’s highlights on a canal cruise this morning. Sit back and relax, enjoy sightseeing from the water and learn more about Amsterdam as you cruise. The rest of the day is yours to spend as you wish. You could wander through the streets of Amsterdam at your leisure, explore the colourful neighbourhoods, try out the local food scene or experience the city’s world-famous museums including the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum. For something different, join the optional Dutch countryside tour featuring cheese, clogs and windmills - all things Dutch! Complete your day of Dutch adventure and choose to join the optional group dinner this evening in Amsterdam. Breakfast included!

Day 13: Amsterdam - Bruges - London

Say farewell to Amsterdam as the tour continues. Today’s first stop is in the medieval city of Bruges, in Belgium. Enjoy free time in the city; take a stroll along cobblestone streets, admire the historic buildings, stock up on Belgian chocolate or indulge in a Belgian waffle (or two). After Bruges, it’s time to continue the last leg of the journey back to London. Arrive back in London towards the end of the day. Tonight, you'll have the option to join a group farewell dinner in Greenwich. This is the perfect time to make a few more memories before the tour comes to an end in the morning!

Day 14: End of tour in London
After two incredible weeks, the tour comes to an end this morning. Enjoy breakfast with the group at the hotel where you can say goodbye to your newly made travel friends. While the tour may be complete, there is still travel fun to be had! Join in an optional walking tour of unique boroughs of London to experience more of England’s capital city.

This tour of Europe is a perfect introduction, ideal for first timers or those who want to do as much as possible in 7 days. Visiting 5 countries you will see all that Paris has to offer, have fun in the snow in Switzerland, cruise the Rhine Valley and the canals in Amsterdam and even have time for lunch and chocolates in Bruges on your way home. Lots of other experiences included and great value for money.

Day 1: Visit Paris
Leaving London behind us, we make our way to Paris, crossing the Channel and arriving in the ‘City of Lights’ in the afternoon. Your tour leader will lead you on a driving tour of this famous city. Get your cameras ready – you’ll be seeing some of the city’s most treasured landmarks, including the Eiffel Tower! Make a note of your favourites, as tomorrow you’ll be able to explore the city in far more detail. After checking in to the hotel, we’ll travel to the hilltop region of Montmartre for dinner, a refuge for artists and bohemians in Paris’ glory days, an area whose cobble-stone streets have seen their share of famous faces over the years. Enjoy views of the city from the white stone steps of the Sacre Coeur, and take the chance this evening to explore the nightlife on the nearby Boulevard de Clichy, home to the world-famous Moulin Rouge!
Dinner. Overnight accommodation. Alternative start point: Paris.

Day 2: A free day in Paris
Today is all yours to explore as you wish. Take a look at our optional excursions – enjoy a cruise up the River Seine, and head up the tower of Montparnasse for exquisite views of the city, the perfect way to see Paris at its best. Visit L’Opéra Garnier, the Tuileries Gardens, Place de la Concorde, Hotel de Ville, the River Seine, l’Ile de la Cite or the Louvre Museum. Get a glimpse of that most famous avenue, the Champs Elysees, overlooked by the famous Arc de Triomphe. Feel like shopping? Why not head to the boutiques of La Marais? Or visit the graves of Oscar Wilde and Jim Morrison at Père Lachaise Cemetery? Those with a taste for the macabre can even descend to the infamous catacombs! Alternatively, stay above ground and explore the museums, people-watch from a roadside café, or simply stroll the city, following in the footsteps of great painters, musicians and writers.

Day 3: Visit Switzerland
It’s an early start this morning as we continue on to our next stop in the Swiss Alps. Arriving in the late afternoon, we’ll wind our way through dramatic Swiss mountain scenery – look out for quaint villages, snow-capped mountain peaks, delightful homesteads and rolling hills as we climb higher into the mountains. We’ll stop for the night in the Jungfrau region, one of the most beautiful regions in the Alps.

Day 4: A free day in the Swiss Alps.
The splendour of the Alps is yours today – don’t miss the chance to join our optional excursion up to Jungfraujoch, the highest train station in Europe! The trip to the top is a real highlight; you might find yourself pressed up against the windows as the picture-perfect Swiss countryside rolls beneath you. Look out for quaint villages nestled in the valleys beneath snow-capped peaks and tumbling mountain waterfalls. Once we’ve reached the top, enjoy the year-round snow and breathtaking views of the surrounding glaciers and craggy mountaintops. Once you’ve had a chance to explore and capture as many photos as possible, it’s back down to lower altitudes for the rest of the afternoon. Take the chance to head into nearby Interlaken to see the lakes of the region, shop for chocolates and cuckoo clocks, or have a fondue!

Day 5: Visit the Rhine Valley
This morning we board the coach once more as we make for Germany’s famous Rhine Valley! Relax on board a Rhine riverboat as we head to our hotel in the heart of the Rhine Valley. This is the most concentrated stretch of castles in all of Europe, and it also features vineyards, charming medieval towns and lofty cliffs. Learn the story of the castles, many of which are now in ruins since the river barons left long ago. Once the cruise is over, enjoy a traditional German dinner, then walk it off with a stroll along the riverside. The perfect end to the day!

Day 6: Visit Amsterdam
The Netherlands is our next stop, and we arrive first at the windmill. Following that enjoy a traditional cheese-making demonstration, and learn about how that most quirky and quaint of footwear choices – the clog – is made, before travelling onward to Amsterdam. We’ll check in to our hotel before joining a Amsterdam canal dinner cruise! Get on board and get those cameras ready; this is the best way to experience the city of Amsterdam, with its 17th century architecture, fascinating museums and cafes. Watch the city drift past as you sail by, and listen out for tips and interesting insights into the city from your tour leader. Later on, you have the option to join your tour leader for a walking tour of the infamous Red Light District! The evening is yours – explore the canals and Dam Square, and enjoy your time in this fascinating city.

Day 7: Visit Bruges and return to London.
After breakfast, we bid farewell to Amsterdam and make our way back to London via the Belgian city of Bruges. Famous for its beer, waffles, chocolate and moules et frites, this is definitely a good place to be if you’ve brought your appetite. An extremely popular medieval city with no shortage of cobblestone streets, historic old churches and lofty towers, this is a great city to explore and a good spot to pick up any last-minute souvenirs. Once you’ve had a look around, it’s back to the coach for the final leg of our journey back to London.
