Cost $3500. which includes the costs for entrance fees and transportation on field trips, airfare to Tobago, and course materials. A payment plan is available.

Course is 13 weeks long.
Theory classes - Tuesdays and Thursdays 5-8pm.
Practical classes - 8 fun filled field trips 👨‍🌾 on Saturdays. Includes a 1-day trip to Tobago.

It is fully recognized by the T&T Tour Guide Association, Premier Tourganization and several other tourism related organisations.

This Friday (November 19th) promises to be an eventful one for those who enjoy full moons. This month's own is called a 'Beaver Moon' and will experience a partial lunar eclipse lasting approximately three hours and twentyy eight minutes, making it the longest in 580 years!! It can be viewed in T&T between 2am and 6am.

And now from folklore....

A word of caution...it might be best not to view this occurrence while standing at a crossroad. According to local folklore, the 'Moon Gazer' is an immensely tall man that stands at the crossroads on nights of the full moon with his legs wide apart, straddling the road. If you try to pass under him, interrupting his moongazing, he snaps his legs shut, crushing and killing you. Seems that the moon has been a source of inspiration for local folklore and superstitions over the years. Have you ever heard of the saying that you should not sleep outdoors under a full moon as it could send you mad? According to the Oxford Dictionary, the word 'lunatic' originally referred to a kind of insanity supposedly dependent on the phases of the moon.

It's not Trinidad. Our Education and Research Officer (the Guru of Tour Guidong) has spread her wings. She is now doing tour guide training regionally. Montserrat has now been exposed to superior training for the taxi and tour guide operators. Included in the training, besides professional tour guiding techniques, was itinerary development, tour packaging and operations, tour costings, introduction to entrepreneurship and VHF radio handling (especially for Plymouth - the volcano area).
