We hope you enjoy your time here in our historic home in this old Tobago neighbourhood. This house and yard once hosted a to***co processing operation and a chicken farm. It has survived generations of children, the devastating hurricane Flora in 1962, and several earthquakes. The property was recently renovated and all modern conveniences were installed but it maintains all the charm of its 150 y

ear history from its vaulted ceilings to its creaking floors. Its night-time view over the port of Scarborough may be brighter but it’s not hard to get lost in time looking at the brood of resident chickens foraging for fare in the large backyard or cooling down under the old fashioned outdoor rain-head shower. Fruit trees abound; there’s always something in season at the Fort Cottage – mango, sapodilla, cashew, avocado, soursop, cherries and heavenly Tobago chennet. Sit and sip on the back porch or swing and snooze in one of our hammocks; the Fort Cottage provides great opportunities to relax and unwind. A short stroll away is the magnificent Fort King George.
