WeSchool專注推廣「創新實作教育 (Maker Education)」，為了以 STEAM 教育課程為主? As a result, we started promoting the “Maker Education”.

WeSchool 團隊於2015年1月在清華大學成立，致力於推動台灣「自造者運動(Maker Movement)」，培養在地「創客」社群。曾在2015及2016年與清大合作舉辦國際型自造者活動 ”Hsinchu Mini Maker Faire”，吸引近8000人參觀。
活動中，我們發現創客新奇有趣的作品能啟發兒童對科學科技的興趣，因此，我們開始專注推廣「創新實作教育 (Maker Education)」，為了以 STEM 教育課程為主軸來翻轉傳統教育「單向知識灌輸」的教學思維，WeSchool提出Maker教育的學習循環圈理念。我們採取PBL(project based learning)專題式學習法，讓中小學兒童實際操作現實生活中的工具來製作專案，並結合數位學習平台學習專案相關科學知識，是種「線上學習知識、線下訓練技能」的混成教育型式，以培育孩子成為具備「21世紀的關鍵能力」，使我們的

孩子都能成為夢想的實踐家。

WeSchool is founded on January, 2015 at National Tsing Hua University. We are committed to promoting "Maker Movement" and cultivate the local “Maker Community.” In addition, Weschool and NTHU were the host of the 2015 and 2016 international maker activity-“ Hsinchu Mini Maker Faire ”, which appeal around 8000 people . WeSchool found that by making things by children themselves can inspire their interest and passion in the field of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. In order to alter the traditional education thinking of “one-way indoctrination”, we purpose the idea of WeSchool Learning Circle. We use PBL (project based learning) as a learning method, which allows primary and secondary schools’ children to use the tools around them to create projects. What’s more, children can learn project-related scientific knowledge on the digital learning platform. Therefore, this is a form of the "online learning knowledge, offline training skills " hybrid learning education . We encourage children to observe things around their lives and try to solve the problems they encountered. In the process of the implementation, they may encounter difficulties, but in order to achieve the goals, the children will have the enthusiasm to explore knowledge, and then realize the fun of learning. We hope all the children with the 21th century’s key ability of “making things by themselves”. More importantly, they can be their own dream maker.
