📍Liushidanshan｜East Rift Valley

During the orange season from August to September each year, you can see a whole sea of orange daylilys at Liushidanshan🧡When driving up to the mountain in Hualien, be mindful of the narrow and winding roads, and consider whether your vehicle is suitable for the journey.

The mountain is very comfortable, with lush greenery dotted with specks of orange🌾The surrounding restaurants also serve many specialty orange daylily dishes, such as cold orange daylily salad, orange daylily sausages, and orange daylily popsicles, all worth experiencing for their unique flavors and textures.

Before going, it's recommended to check the flower conditions online to avoid disappointment!

📍Daxueshan National Forest Recreation Area｜Taichung

🏔️Daxueshan is located in the most remote area of Taichung City, it takes about two hours' drive from downtown. You will be able to drive up the mountains (2,600m altitude), and chance upon plum blossoms, maples, sakura, and cypress of various shades. 🌸

Be surrounded by clouds along the forest drive and indulging views of bright blue sky at each interval. By 2,000m, you will find yourself above the sea of clouds.🌥️

During sunset, photographers will camp around the area and capture the beauty,each visit at a different time will reveal a new and captivating aspect of this place!🌟

Sh*tiping is most famous for its unique natural coastal landscape🪸 including raised coral reefs, cliffs, and pits, as well as the magnificent sea-eroded landscape, which is known as the best in Taiwan! 👀

📍Great Buddha Statue of Baguashan｜Changhua

Located on the hill 74 meters above sea level, the 24-meter-high Great Buddha Statue of Baguashan used to be one of the biggest Buddha statues in Asia upon its completion in 1961. 🛕

The interior is separated into six different floors, where visitors are allowed to climb the steps to reach the very top of the great statue. Each floor contains a series of life-size statues that tell the story of the Buddha as well as his path to supreme.

Never mind if you are not religious at all. At the front of Great Buddha is Changhua’s highest point and a great spot to stand — on one side you have the great statue, and on the other you have an excellent panorama of the city. 🤩

📍National Center for Traditional Arts｜Yilan

National Center for Traditional Arts is the largest exhibition and performance site for arts with rich collection of cultural antiques in Taiwan. The life of the past of Taiwan has been recreated here along with historic streets, traditional stages and houses with a brick kiln in the center.🏚️

Visiting here can be like traveling on a time machine. Visitors will have a basic understanding of various types of traditional arts such as dough figurines, handmade soaps, glassmaking and glove puppetry🤹 Experience Taiwan's culture here in your own way!

Guided tours are available for groups and can be reserved in advance. The outdoor opera performances (the so-called yetaixi) are held every day, and the whole crew will travel from the commercial street all the way to the main stage.

📍Fenqihu｜Alishan, Chiayi

Famous for the “railway lunchbox” 🍱Fenqihu is a historic train station that makes a popular pit-stop on the way to Alishan. Walking along the 1.2-kilometer-long trail and passing through groves of tortoise-shell bamboo, you will arrive at the ruins of a Japanese shinto shrine hidden in the forest. 🛤️This short stroll is nice and cool especially in spring and summer. Before leaving Fenqihu, be sure to have a delicious railway lunchbox and take a stroll along the old street.

When the night falls, you might even spot little dancing fireflies creating a magical illusion in a completely natural setting of enchanted forests – this will be the experience of a lifetime in early spring!

Living in is interesting. You may enjoy the sunrise and sunset on the sea level in one day. Guanshan is worldly famous for the sunset view🌄 It is chosen to be one of the twelve most beautiful sunset spots by CNN.

It takes a short hike to the mountaintop. Before the sunset, you can enjoy the fish village view in the north, and the Hengchun longitudinal valley plain in the east. Just pick a nice spot and relax! Wait for the magnificent show created by mother nature.🌟🌟

📍Bitou Cape Park｜New Taipei City

Bitou Cape is one of the three capes of Northern Taiwan: the other two are Fugui Cape and the Sandiao Cape. Here you will have a chance to witness a geological “zoo” of sea-eroded landforms such as ocean cliffs and platforms as well as mushroom, honeycomb, and tofu shaped rocks.🌊

📍Fort San Domingo｜Tamsui, New Taipei

Located in Tamsui, was once called ""Hong Mao Chen"" by the local Han Chinese residents due to its association with the Dutch. Later, the British refurbished the fort as a consulate office, transforming it into a unique blend of military and diplomatic purposes. 🏰

The two-story red brick building exhibits typical British colonial architecture with a touch of Chinese elements, offering a glimpse into the life of a consul. In addition to the fort, the former British Consular Residence, built in the late 19th century, now serves as a museum showcasing the consulate's history. Visitors can also enjoy a panoramic view of Guanyin Mountain and the Tamsui River from the lookout, especially at sunset.🌄

📍Bishan Temple｜Taipei City

Don’t know what to do at Taipei night? Knowing Bishan Temple makes you an expert among your friends coming along. 🌃👀

🛕This temple is only a half an hour drive from downtown and there is virtually no walk to here, making a great location of night view walk. We suggest you to come here before the sunset. The hilly view of Taipei basin is hard to see even for many locals.

Taipei 101 stands far away and with the coming of the night, the illuminated tower began to show its charm to light up the city. Some say this place is the best among all night view locations in Taipei.🌟🌟

📍Sanxiantai｜Taitung

Sanxiantai is a special scenic area composed of offshore islands and coral reef coastlines, and it offers different attractions from sunrise to sunset and into the night, especially on clear days when you can see the so-called "Taitung Blue." ☁️🌊

Every year, a New Year's hot air balloon event is held, and Sanxiantai is the first place on the main island of Taiwan to see the sunrise, making it well worth a visit for those who have never been.🌅

The beautiful coastal scenery and clear skies create a picturesque scene, and visitors can also walk on the Cross-Sea Bridge to enjoy the stunning ""sea and sky in one color"" view from a high vantage point." 💖

📍Qigu Lagoon｜Tainan

The best way to travel around Qigu Lagoon is by boat. There are many boats operators in the area for you to choose, but the tours and services are pretty much the same — an ecological trip through the lagoon with all-you-can-eat grilled oysters onsite.

A guide will explain to you in details everything about Qigu Lagoon, from history to ecology and fishing industry, and you will also have an opportunity to experience yourself how to harvest oysters from beds by hand.
