Le Castellet

This beautiful little feudal village perched on top of its promontory will charm you with its picturesque Provencal, its small squares lined with beautiful old houses carefully restored and its old stones highlighted with taste.

We enter the Castellet by 2 fortified gates and then let ourselves be guided, along the small streets, potters, leather goods ... scented candles, ceramics, jewelry alongside paintings galleries and ice merchants.

You will stroll with delight in its small streets in slopes, even if at certain times of the year you will have difficulty to circulate between the stalls of craft ... this wise little bazaar does not make lose its charm to the village ...

château de la Napoule

Grimaud

Many people go to the Côte d’Azur to visit the much talked about town of Saint-Tropez. We went to discover the perched medieval village of Grimaud, in the hills, about fifteen miles away. Grimaud offers all the amenities, historic sites and natural beauty a person could ask for, without the crowds.

You will be greeted by cafés, terraces, gift shops, fountains and charming flower-bedecked stone houses, all lovingly restored. Follow a cobblestone pedestrian street as it meanders even higher, passing more enticing shops and adorable houses, to locate the château ruins. The tower is visible from miles around, and you can climb it to have stunning views of the Mediterranean as well as the surrounding hills called the Massif des Maures.
