❗️‼️✈️ We would like to share encouraging news that was just released these days. According to the latest news update, Taiwan could end mandatory quarantine for arrivals on Oct. 13th. The 3+4 quarantine policy will be changed to "0+7" policy under which arriving visitors will no longer be required to quarantine, but will be required to undertake seven days of "self-initiated disease prevention”.
The loosen border controls were scheduled to take effect on Sept. 29, including raising the weekly cap on arriving visitors from the current 50,000 to 60,000, and canceling mandatory deep-throat saliva PCR tests upon arrival. We are still waiting for further guidance regarding inbound guests to see if there are any requirements related to land arrangements.
