TRAVEL ADVISORY UPDATE

1. CATHAY PACIFIC - All travellers coming
from China, Hongkong, and Macau
except Philippine Nationals are not
permitted to enter the Philippines.
Flights from Philippines to Hongkong
and Macau are only allowed for
non-residents or foreign nationals.

2. CEBU PACIFIC - All travellers coming
from China, Hongkong, Macau, and Taiwan
except Philippine nationals are not
permitted to enter the Philippines.
Flights from Philippines to Hongkong,
Macau and China are cancelled for
the Filipinos. Travel ban is in effect
until further notice.

3. PHILIPPINE AIRLINES - All travellers coming
China, Hongkong, and Macau except
Philippine nationals are not permitted to
enter the Philippines. Flights from PH to
Hongkong, Macau and China are cancelled
for Filipinos. Travel ban is in effect until
March 28.

On Monday (Feb 10) Philippines Health agency announced a sudden travel ban to Taiwan creating chaos on both Taiwanese and Filipino citizens, with this flights from both countries were cancelled.

The temporary ban was extended to Taiwan late Monday night in a clarification issued by the Philippines' Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB), which said Taiwan was included in the ban under Manila's one-China policy.

PH imposes travel ban on China as new coronavirus infections rise globally.
300 Chinese stuck in Philippine airports after Manila’s travel ban on Hong Kong, Macau and mainland China.

The ban covers all foreigners arriving from China, Hong Kong and Macau, including those who visited these areas within 14 days.

Filipino citizens and those who hold a permanent resident visa issued by the Philippine government may enter the country but will undergo a 14-day quarantine...

Travel from the Philippines to China and its territories will also be prohibited temporarily..

GOOD NEWS 👉 Officials of CAAP, Municipal Engineering Office, MENRO and the Local Government of Ipil recently conducted ocular inspection at the Ipil Airport to assess progress of completion of the fire station, control tower, apron extension and removal of obstructions being done at the port. Operationalization of the airport will soon commence when everything is set. Flight routes being considered include Ipil to Cebu; Ipil to Davao and back.
