Meet one of the co-founders of .collection, ! When she’s not in the Serengeti, she is documenting her family travels around the world. Having travelled to many different countries and hotels, this has helped Lu and the rest of the team decide on the “Nyumbani” name.

One of the questions we were asked recently was, why the name “Nyumbani”? The answer to this is simple. Because after you stay in Nyumbani, it is the feeling that lingers - that feeling of having been right at “home”. The Swahili word for home is Nyumbani, and we chose this for this very reason.
