Just like most of the big cats, lions do have an interesting courtship and mating behaviour.
The queen approaches the king and sway in front of him swatting him in the face with tail while emitting a low rumbling growl.
Soon than later, she will lie down in front of the king inviting him to mount of her and she lifts her rear slightly to make copulation easier.

Tarangire Np - Tanzania
Common Warthog have some peculiar eating habits. They exhibit osteophagia (chewing of bones) geophagia (Chewing of soil) and coprophagia (chewing of faeces.
While on our safari in Tarangire Np, we observed this one chewing bones and soil to supplement nutrients required.
You sometimes see the young ones eating adults dung which is important for them to colonise their guts with useful micro bacteria.

Mount Kilimanjaro - the highest mountain in Africa, snow caped and world’s highest free standing mountain.

Day 4: Our hike from Horombo to Kibo (4720m) was just amazing. The environmental changes for the all day were so dramatic as we left from Morland to Alpine desert. Pole pole we reached at Kibo hut, unpacked and took some rest. We had an early dinner that was followed by a serious briefing about what was to come, summit gears inspection just to make sure everyone is well prepared for the summit. Day 5: Summit day Kibo (4720m) to uhuru peak (5895m) then descend to Horombo (3720) 12:30am Wakeup call, coffee and ginger tea and some snacks. 01:30 GO TIME! We moved as slowly as possible. This was very important to help adjust to the high altitude and also trying to avoid fatigue. We appreciated the milky Way as it spread across the night sky directly overhead. Everyone was focusing on a successful summit. Our guides were very keen checking at everyone and setting a right pace. We stopped when were told to stop for water break and moved on when they told us it’s time to walk. At 6am the sum began to rise over Mawenzi peak – just behind us. Clouds inversion reaching far as eyes could see, endless clouds below us and clear blue skies above…just great condition for the summit. We finally made to Crater rim / Gilmas point where we stopped for our snacks. Glaciers in a distance, snow fields and rocky outcrops …incredible. We kept moving pole pole. Finally, at 13HRS we reached Uhuru peak – the highest point in all of the African continent. At this point I had mixed emotions that I could not stop my tears. We high-fived, took some photos, rest a bit before we started descending to Horombo hut. Day 6: Continued our way down to Marangu exit gate and drove back to Arusha. Golden memories experiences. Above all, it’s heart touching that the impact of our hike will save lives of many people in Tanzania and other parts of the world. Jambo everyone. I am extremely happy to be part of my team leading an expedition on Mt. Kilimanjaro- the highest mountain in Africa and the only one free-standing mountain on earth. All our guests and team are physically and physiologically fit , ready to conquer the majestic Kili! Today on 3rd is our wonderful day 3 typing this post from Horombo hut (at 3,720 meters above sea level) Tomorrow we take our golden steps to base camp ! Hey!
