Today we head to Tarangire National Park. The park, which has its own source of water, comes into its own in the dry season as a birdlife congregation on the Tarangire River and herds of giraffe, zebra, buffalo, and, in particular, elephants can be seen.
Dinner and overnight at Eileen’s Trees Inn Lodge: Bed, Dinner, Lunch, Breakfast and included.

DAY 02: GAME DRIVE IN SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK:
We head towards the Serengeti National Park. En route, there is an opportunity to visit Olduvai Gorge. It is within this steep-sided ravine that Louis and Mary Leakey made some of the world’s most important archaeological discoveries in the 1950s.

DAY 03: ANOTHER FULL DAY GAME DRIVE IN SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK.
We have another full day in this wonderful park, rising early to make the most of our time. Our guides will choose the best spotting locations for the time of year; we can spend time at the Hippo pool watching these majestic animals laze about in the cool water happily living alongside the crocodiles, watch a big pride of lions, be in the middle of the migration, sometimes surrounded by wildebeest, sometimes by zebras, which travel with the wildebeest. We journey from the wide-open plains to the kopjes: these volcanic rocky outcrops provide protection and shelter for a wide variety of animals and from the top, we can look out across the vast grasslands of the Serengeti. This diverse and interesting landscape will provide us with the ultimate in game viewing, we will hopefully see all of the plain games; elephants, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, lions and if you are lucky the elusive leopard and cheetah, as well as huge amounts of the interesting birdlife, from the elegant secretary birds to the flightless ostrich. We return to our special tented camp for the night.
Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Baobab Tented Camp: Bed, Dinner, and Breakfast and Lunch.

DAY 04: GAME DRIVE TO NGORONGORO CRATER.
Sleeping near the Ngorongoro Crater means that we are one of the first vehicles to descend into the caldera. Ngorongoro is a Conservation Area rather than a national park. This means that the whole area is managed for both the animals and the local Maasai people who graze their cattle alongside the indigenous wildlife. During the drive down to the crater floor, we will gain a glimpse of the Maasai’s lifestyle. The crater walls provide a natural sanctuary for the animals, which means there is plenty to see: lions, elephants, buffalo, rhino, and leopard (if you are lucky enough). The only animal you won’t see here is a giraffe, whose long legs are unable to cope with the steeps sides of the crater. Later this afternoon we will leave the crater and drive back to Arusha.
Dinner and overnight at Arusha Masailand Safari Lodge: Bed, Dinner, Breakfast included.

MOUNT KILIMANJARO 7 DAYS MACHAME ROUTE CLIMBING ITINERARY.
The Machame route, also referred to as the Whiskey route, was one of the most popular routes ad crowded on Kilimanjaro. But now many people have been choosing Lemosho as altenative to avoid crowd which makes the route less populated compare to Lemosho. This is one of our favorite route due to its scenery and success rates. Machame route is one of the highest summit success rates given the topography and nature of the route which allows climbers to “trek high & sleep low” hence making it a more favorable route for acclimatization. This route offers some of the most spectacular scenery while on the mountain. The Machame route starts in the south west side of the mountain and proceeds steeply north, traversing the Shira plateau and eventually joining the Shira and Lemosho routes just after the Shira cave camp. The Machame route can be done in minimum 6 days but a 7 day trek is recommended to allow climbers been well rested and acclimatized before making the final ascent to the summit.
Arrive in Tanzania
You will be picked up at the Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to your arranged hotel in Moshi town, you will meet your guide who will brief you on your upcoming trek and do an equipment check to make sure you have all the necessary mountain gear. KILIMANJARO ACTIVE GROUP JOINING CLIMBS-2024-2025
Kilimanjaro group climbs are great if you are travelling solo, or just wish to experience Mount Kilimanjaro climb with other travellers from around the world.
All group climbs are guaranteed to depart regardless of the number of participants.
Your trip will never be cancelled, and you will never be asked to pay more, even if you are the only person booked on this climb.
We climb Mount Kilimanjaro every day of the year and we can schedule a climb with just 2 days’ notice for any booking group size. However, many climbers particularly those travelling solo – prefer to join others who have already booked.
THE BEST MONTHS TO CLIMB KILIMANJARO.
Normally March, April, and May are the months with long rains and should be avoided.
November is usually short rain but it does not often rain all day so Climbing is possible.
The best Months for climbing Mount Kilimanjaro are January, February, and also August and September.
July can be colder and November to December can be wet.
January to February is the warmest month, almost clear of clouds each evening and morning.
The success rates with our guides are outstanding compared to the overall success rates for all climbers who attempt to reach the top.
Our trips are for active, flexible-minded people who enjoy the unusual and adventurous.
For trips that have an emphasis on mountain climbing, you need to remember that even the easiest trekking involves some exertion, so you should be reasonably fit and sure that you will enjoy the activity.
