Tales of Tanzania made our honeymoon perfect! Pendo was very helpful from our initial email until the very end where we got to meet her and she refunded us cash that I had accidentally overpaid for the trip. Very sweet lady and coworkers, very ethical.

We had the pleasure of having Peter as our guide and spotter! Peter was so friendly, fun, and profession! Peter was ready at the airport to pick us up outside of customs. Peter took us from the airport to Arusha where we had lunch, food was solid! We went to Manyara after that and saw the lake, baboons, elephants, zebras and giraffe. We stayed at the farm of dreams which was very nice and spacious and beautiful lodge. Peter had the lodging staff set up our bed to have “happy honeymoon” written with flower pedals for each night which was quite sweet to come home to at the end of the day. The second day we went to Tarangire National Park where we saw lions, elephants, giraffes, leopards and buffalo. We went on the night safari which was really cool even though we did not see any big cats, it was quite an experience to see the animals at night and a little intense as you could only see what was lit up. On the third day we drove from Tarangire to Ndutu which was the most beautiful drive. On the way all the children that are farming wave to you. Peter took us a different way than the other drivers which took us through the beautiful forest I’ll post below. Peter had timed out the sunset perfectly. We were driving the Serengeti plains which were like out of a movie and as we got to our lodging. It was probably one of the most unforgettable moments of of our lives.
Peter is so professional and I don’t think there is anything he does not know about Tanzania and the bush. He has an unbelievable eye. He is polite, funny, smart, and fun! Thank you so much Peter and Tales of Tanzania for making our trip unforgettable!

Ndutu at the moment!!!!
The best months to visit the Ndutu Region are from December, when the Great Migration herds start to arrive from the north, The Ndutu Region is part of Ngorongoro Conservation Area and stretches to the southern  Serengeti. The great migration reaches here with its 2 million animals to give birth to their calves and thousands of animals are born daily between January to February. This is the best time to see wildebeest calving and an excellent time to see predator actions. The abundance of vulnerable young calves means the surrounding predators hunting with ease due to the sheer numbers of wildebeest.  With Ndutu in the plan you can visit both Serengeti and Ngorongoro

We had a fantastic tailor-made safari. Pendo was in advance very helpful and had great suggestions whilst arranging and planning the trip for us.

Said (our driver/ guide) was very knowledgable, great in spotting animals and happily answered all of our questions. He was very understanding and patient, even as we wanted to change the itinerary during the trip. Said is a very experienced and safe driver and knew a lot about the various animals and birds- many thanks to him!

Pendo was throughout very caring and responsive- she even arranged a surprise birthday cake on the last evening…
We felt very well looked after, and would not hesitate to recommend the company to anyone planning a tailor made trip in Tanzania!

Our trip was everything I expected, and everything you promised. We all came home with a lifetime of wonderful memories that we will treasure always. Our first experience of Africa was amazing and the people everywhere were so welcoming and friendly. I've traveled all over the world. Africa is truly a magical experience. 

Transportation:
Outstanding. We never had to wait for, nor worry about transportation the entire trip. 

Safari:
Every park was unique and beautiful. If I had to pick a favorite, it would be the Serengeti. Dismas and Teib were both amazing, informative, and made us feel special. Please thank them both and let Teib know that I will absolutely carry his bags when he comes to Seattle. The balloon ride was a once in a lifetime experience, and I went scuba diving for the first time in Zanzibar. 

Thank you for all your attention to detail and for arranging such a wonderful trip. I hope your daughter enjoys the small gifts. I would definitely recommend Tales of Tanzania and will check in on you if we make it back to your neighborhood.
