Kenya or Tanzania? Which country has the best national parks and the most exciting wildlife?

We think they both do – that’s why we created these immersive Kenya and Tanzania safari tours exploring the two greatest wildlife environments in Africa.

What are the two most famous wildlife parks in the world? The Masai Mara and the Serengeti. Facing each other across their international border, you can witness the millions of wildebeests of the Great Migration herding from the vast plains of the Serengeti in Tanzania over to the green rolling hills of Kenya’s Masai Mara.

You can also visit the great snow-capped form of Mt Kilimanjaro just beyond the Tanzania border framing large families of elephants in Kenya, at Amboseli National Park.

And nothing compares with the numbers of big cats in the Masai Mara except perhaps the incredible density of lions you’ll find descending into Tanzania’s Ngorongoro Crater.

Tanzania discounts safaris
is a six-day safari covering three major famous national parks in the northern Tanzania safaris regions. Tanzania discounts safari will offer a visit to four national parks, this includes exploring the endless plain of Serengeti, Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara. Serengeti National park is the most celebrated national park in the world. About 2 million wildebeests migrate every year from Serengeti – Tanzania to Masai Mara in Kenya. The remarkable Ngorongoro crater is the largest unbroken caldera in the world. To be more specific, over 272,000 wild animals live here, including the big five, together with Masai who lives around the crater rim and Ngorongoro highlands. Apart from all these, the Ngorongoro trip can be combined with a Masai villages visit to experience culture.

Nevertheless, Tanzania discounts safari is among the easy-to-use itineraries which give you the privilege to stay on Tented lodges. A true African shelter found inside the national park, with the best view of wildlife. True Africa sound right from your bed, while sharing the same ground with lion and elephants. Meanwhile, it is a recovering package that is on promotional to help you to enjoy Tanzania safaris trips. Tanzania discounts safari itinerary is a specially designed safari package that is affordable especially at these challenging times. We have considered a reasonable price for our guests to enjoy the opportunity for a holiday during this time for the covid-19 outbreak.
We choose Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti park, and Ngorongoro crater during the dry seasons from June to March. Therefore, April and May are green seasons, but you can still go on our discount safari and enjoy wildlife in their environments. In green season you will still enjoy our special offer. There are few tourists in the green season, this gives the advantage to enjoy the park with less cost. We will still maintain our offer for our guests to ease from the lockdown from their country.

When planning for a Tanzania wildlife holiday safari, you have to consider a few factors to make your holiday. As mentioned above, for many people cost is an important factor. We designed this package to cater to affordable safari in Tanzania. Again, if you travel in the green season you will enjoy more for less cost than those who travel on peak season and still discover Tanzania safari adventure. If you can convince friends or family members or workmates to travel with you will help you to lower the cost. During covid-19 we have requested our accommodation provider to lower the cost so that you will enjoy discounts Tanzania safari!!

Southeastern plains & Ndutu
The southeastern plains represent the image of the classic Serengeti.

These short-grass plains stretch from the western side of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to the southeast Serengeti National Park. It is a vast open expanse and hosts all familiar Serengeti animals: from lion, eland, wildebeest, to skittish bat-eared foxes and ostrich. If lucky, you may even encounter a graceful secretary bird strolling the plains.

The southeastern plains are dotted with several clusters of koppies (or kopjes). Kopjes form a microhabitat inhabited by non-plains wildlife such as rock hyrax, klipspringer, leopard and various cliff-nesting raptors. Lions use kopjes as shelter or as vantage point enabling to survey the surrounding plains. As the name suggests, Simba Koppies, on the main road between Seronera and the Ngorongoro Crater Area are good for lion sightings. The grasslands around the more easterly Gol Koppies are excellent for both cheetah and lion. Although trees flourish on the sides of koppies, a striking feature of the surrounding plains is its lack of trees altogether. The explanation for this feature is that the volcanic soil is too hard for roots to pe*****te. Also see: why are there no trees on the plains?

Send your enquiry for a southeast plains safari
We hope you have found all the information needed to decide that the southeastern plains and Ndutu is the perfect place for your next travel adventure.

Serengeti National Park, which is rightfully deemed a World Heritage Site, is the one place where one can witness the Great Migration, when Wildebeest and Zebra in their hundreds of thousands follow the yearly rain patterns in search of green pastures. This takes place against the backdrop of the pristine “endless plains of Africa", spanning 15 thousand square kilometers. This Park offers something for visitors of all ages. Adults can not help but be struck by the surrealism of the multitude of herbivores, followed by lions, cheetah and hyenas, moving with the single mindedness of the struggle for survival. The younger children will, in turn, be thrilled to experience the place that inspired the makers of “The Lion King”. And, of course, all those familiar with National Geographic and the Animal Planet channel will readily recognise the Serengeti National Park of Tanzania as the place where many of their documentaries were filmed.

Join us for an unforgettable 3 days Serengeti safari starting from Zanzibar. This Flying safari from Serengeti safari from Zanzibar is facilitated with a return flight, that we will book for you into one of the airstrips inside Serengeti National Park. The flight itself is an adventure of its kind. The plane flies through Arusha and on the way you will get a superb opportunity to enjoy views of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro from above as well as other magnificent views of other geographical features in Northern Tanzania. Including the Ngorongoro crater, and the breathtaking Crater Lake at Empakai Crater in the Ngorongoro Highlands.

Are you in Zanzibar Island and wish to take a short to the Serengeti National Park? Look no further. The Serengeti National Park is one of the largest wildlife parks located in Northern Tanzania and the park has been repeatedly voted as the best wildlife park in Africa. It wasn’t by fluke or favor because the Serengeti plains are teeming with wildlife and birdlife almost all year round. Due to high demand for safari tours from Zanzibar we introduced this short 3 days safari in the Serengeti starting and finishing at Zanzibar Island.

Best time to visit Serengeti for safari from Zanzibar
The best time to visit Serengeti from Zanzibar for safari is usually between July and September. That falls in the dry season and the most favorite months for visitors who travel especially for the wildebeests migration safari.

The Serengeti is National Park can be toured for wildlife safari throughout the year but if one can avoid the long rains in April / May then that would be a good thing to do.

Location for the wildebeests herds and indeed other animals varies from time to time. You will be duly advised as to which area you should stay in during your short Serengeti safari from Zanzibar. Just inform our safari experts when you wish to travel and they will be happy to advise you on the best places to explore within the Serengeti and the best accommodation to stay in.

How to take a 3 day Short Serengeti Safari from Zanzibar
Serengeti National Park is located in the larger Serengeti Ecosystem at the border to Kenya. Very far from Zanzibar so there is no way to do the safari by road. One can only visit the Serengeti from Zanzibar by flying into an airstrip within the park. The most commonly used airstrip is Seronera Airstrip in central Serengeti but as mentioned above the area that you are staying at n the Serengeti will determine which airstrip you will landing when you arrive from Serengeti. When visiting the Northern Serengeti you may land into Kogatende, or Lobo Airtsrip. Other aisrtrips include the Fort Ikoma Airstrip and Singita Airstrips which are loacted outside the park.

In our 3 days or 4 days safaris in Tanzania from Zanzibar we usually include return flights.

Cost for the 3 day Short Serengeti Safari from Zanzibar
The price for the 3 days safari from Zanzibar starts from USD 1536 per person / sharing, when 6 adults are travelling together, and therefore sharing one safari jeep.

The cost depends on which flight we get but mostly on the accommodation that you want use. We can use midrange or standard luxury lodges or tented camps or even top end accommodations. The prices for the Serengeti safari also depends on how many people are coming with you. We offer this tour as a private tour and not as a group tour that anyone can join.

The 3 days safari from Zanzibar costs more than the same 3 days safari from Arusha mainly because of the cost of the flights involved but also because of the extra transport costs involved in the tour from Zanzibar. Our safari car and driver guide will have to leave early (one day before your arrival date into Serengeti). This is because the guide has to be at the airstrip early to meet you on your arrival. Get in touch with one of our experts and he/she will help you in the hassle free organization for your next 3-day Tanzania safari in Serengeti starting from Zanzibar Island.
