Mount Meru is a strato volcano mountain found in Arusha region Northern Tanzania ...This beautiful mountain is in the Gregory rift system just situated 70km West of its cousin Mount Kilimanjaro
Mount Meru is located North of Arusha town and can be seen mostly on clear day.
It is the 2nd highest volcanic mountain in Tanzania with a variable elevation of 4562- 4566MASL.
It is the 3rd highest mountain in East Africa and the 5th in Africa though this might be depending with the definition in relation to its physical formation.
Its firstly ascent was made by a German, Fritz jager in 1904.
The volcanic peaks are the SOCIALIST PEAK (4562MASL) and the LITTLE MERU (3820MASL).

The king of the jungle.. An adult LION just having a little bit fun under the truck ...providing himself a shade after a long day hunting....the long hair on his neck are called mane which are the one of the feature to differentiate him from the female lioness also the mane protect the lion from injuries especially when fighting either with the enemies or the coalition...actually the word (coalition) when comes to this kind of species means the group of three to four matured lion ..
