The trip of a lifetime!

We scheduled a 10-day safari in Kenya and Tanzania with Shadows of Africa Tours and also added an additional four days in Victoria Falls.

Shadows of Africa Tours did an excellent job planning and executing our travels and promptly answer all our questions. They had excellent guides and transportation! We enjoyed the lodging and food while we were on the tour and best of all we saw an amazing number of incredible animals!

It was the trip of a lifetime and we highly recommend Shadows of Africa Tours.

Incredible and unforgettable Safari with Safari of Africa

It's hard to find and choose good tour company for Tanzanian safari as there are so many tour companies! I heard some really good reviews and recommendations in some FB groups about Shadows of Africa, so I contacted them and other two tour companies to send me offers. Shadows of Africa's service was excellent from the first offer on! They helped us (me and my husband) choose the right tour for us.

It's a lot to choose from: what tour length to take, which parks to visit, what level of accommodations to choose, to go on private tour or in group of total 6 people, etc.
Everything was perfectly made by Sonja and we must thank her again for a very professional organization of everything. Because from the start to the finish everything was made on a very high quality level and, despite we travel a lot, we were left very positively surprised how much they care and do for their customer.

The safari would not have been such an incredible and unforgettable experience without our guide Lukas. He has excellent knowledge and you could really feel that he enjoys his work and that animals are his passion. He adapted perfectly to our pace, he has a very good sense of people too and it was really pleasant to be in his company, we laughed a lot!

We hope to return back to visit Serengeti too, which was highly recommended from other tourists. We did 3 and a half days safari in Lake Manyara, Tarangire NP (my favourite) and Ngorongoro Crater. It's recommended to have enough time for Serengeti (at least 3 nights) and we plan to return back with Shadows of Africa to visit it and we hope to have Lucas again as our guide too!

🐘 Who can forget standing eye to eye with an African Elephant on safari?

Our favorite fact is that elephants can hear with their legs! The have a low rumble that can travel for miles and gets picked up by fellow elephants with their legs!

Eccezionali

For the first time in our lives we entrusted ourselves to a travel agency for a trip, we were very hesitant, but following some videos seen online and after reading many reviews, Shadows of Africa was our decision.

It was a wonderful trip and Sonja, the girl who followed us, proved to be extremely professional and patient, answering our thousand questions and giving us lots of useful advices.

All the accommodations were wonderful, we stayed in the heart of the Serengeti first and Ngorongoro after with our driver, Dickson, who proved to be exceptional as a driver, as a guide telling us a lot of things about Tanzania and his people, but above all rest assured that he knows the animals perfectly, he anticipates their moves and always arrives first in wonderful places. we saw leopards and lions a few meters away, as well as all the other animals. thanks to Dickson we saw all the big five and we will never stop thanking him.

Everything with Shadow of Africa worked perfectly, the drivers all proved to be extremely professional and provided us with a lot of information, answering our many curiosities.

All the excursions carried out with Tales of Zanzibar, their partner, were magical, we were accompanied by professional people, in love with their work and who gave us unforgettable moments.

Our week ended in their office, where Bernard welcomed us with his incredible smile to say hello in person.

We always felt pampered and with the knowledge that everything was perfectly organized so we give 5 stars to Shadow only because we can't give 6. thanks so much to all your stuff.
