Wow technology or wow that’s a hyena approaching a dead buffalo. #privateguidedadventures #eksafaris #nightdrive #olkericamp
As a kid, I used to have a t-shirt that said “only elephants should wear ivory”. Look at this beauty. She and her mother (I assume? in the background) have put some decades behind them. Hard to believe that Serengeti was elephant free before the 60s, or at least no records of them. Hard to believe too that there were once oryx in Serengeti too… #wildlifeexperiences #elephants #serengetiwildlife #privateguidedadventures #eksafaris #olmaracamp

Experimenting with IR technology to enhance the wildlife experience…. What do you think? Cool or what? #privateguidedadventures #wildlifeexperiences #entaramoments #eksafaris #olkericamp #elephants
@entara_lodges set up a wonderful fly camp for me, off the beaten path, in Tarangire National Park. Fly camp nights and mornings are always so magical. Last night was a very small waxing crescent moon and the Milky Way was out in its glory. #flycamping #privateguidedadventures #eksafaris
A rather nice arrival @entara_lodges olkeri camp this afternoon…. #privateguidedadventures #eksafaris #olkericamp
Close up to a special animal!
With recent tragic videos of elephants knocking cars over, I was glad we got to spend some time with this musth elephant bull on our training drive. Knowledge is power and as we spend time with wildlife we learn to read their moods and behavior and also how to act appropriately to reduce stress towards the animals and ultimately give our guests a special experience.
(Animal in previous post was the Tree hyrax territorial call).
