Our guests had the privilege of immersing themselves in the daily lives of Maasai women, witnessing firsthand the beauty and resilience of this ancient culture. From crafting intricate jewelry adorned with colorful beads to lending a helping hand in renovating houses after the rainy season, every moment was a celebration of tradition and community.

Under the guidance of Maasai women, our guests learned the art of jewelry-making, discovering the stories and significance behind each bead. Nile crocodiles (Crocodylus niloticus) in Serengeti National Park are a formidable and iconic presence in the park's waterways. These reptiles are known for their impressive size and strength, with some individuals reaching lengths of up to 20 feet or more. They have dark green or brownish-gray scales that help them blend into the murky waters, making them excellent ambush predators.

Nile crocodiles are opportunistic hunters and can be found in various water sources within the park, such as rivers, lakes, and seasonal pools. They are known for their patience and will lurk near the water's edge, waiting for unsuspecting prey, including wildebeest, zebras, and other animals, to come to drink or cross.
