The Great Migration in Serengeti National Park is one of nature’s most spectacular events. Every year, over a million wildebeests, along with zebras and gazelles, travel in a circular route between Tanzania’s Serengeti and Kenya’s Maasai Mara in search of fresh grazing land and water. This journey is full of dramatic river crossings, where animals brave crocodile-filled waters, and thrilling chases by predators like lions and cheetahs. The migration happens year-round, with peak moments in the Serengeti typically from May to July and again from October to December.

A Ngorongoro Crater tour is usually combined with a safari in neighboring Serengeti National Park. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area protects the volcanically formed Crater Highlands, which are dotted with deep volcanic craters. The best known, Ngorongoro is the world’s largest intact caldera and a natural wildlife reserve with few peers. Ngorongoro safari tours offer your best chance in Tanzania of spotting all the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and black rhino) in one game drive. The crater is also notable for the spectacularly scenic combination of the verdant plains of the lake-studded crater floor and imposing 600m-/1,968ft-high cliffs that enclose it on all sides. Phenomenal landscapes, rich wildlife in abundance: these are the characteristics of a day-trip which will prove unforgettable. Ngorongoro is a special place. ‘Africa’s Garden of Eden’ is a volcanic crater full of wildlife, a UNESCO World Heritage Site worthy of the name. Animals are present all year-round, making this a destination not to miss. Lions, cheetah, leopard, black rhino, baboons, hippo, elephant and many more the list here is endless. A day-trip to Ngorongoro will live long in the memory.

2 Days 1 Nights Mount Ol Doinyo Lengai Climbing

Mount Ol Doinyo Lengai is situated in one of the beautiful places of North Tanzania, near Lake Natron where hundreds of thousands of pink flamingos fly every year. Ol Doinyo Lengai is unique among active volcanoes in the East Africa and unique in the world which produces natrocarbonatite lava or “cold lava”. It has a dark-brown or black color in liquid state and a fluidity as water. This temperature is much lower than other lavas but, however, not so cool because it is approximately 510-600°C. In a hundred years Lengai has erupted about 15 times, the last time was in 2013. Fortunately, Ol Doinyo Lengai eruptions happen without victims because the volcano has relatively small size and it is situated rather far from nearest Maasai villages.

3 Days 2 Nights Mount Ol Doinyo Lengai Climbing

Ol Doinyo Lengai, also known as ‘Mountain of God’ in the Maasai language, is the only active volcano in Tanzania and the third highest peak in the country. Located in the Gregory Rift, which is just south of the nearby Lake Natron in the Arusha region of Tanzania. The volcano is a popular hiking destination for those looking for a unique challenge. The peak reaches 2,962m and is an interesting geological destination with the carbonatite rock derived from magma, a unique feature in this region. The Climb takes about from 6-11 hours and the summit attempt usually begins in the middle of the night to reach the peak of the volcano. This early start is to enjoy the sunrise from the summit and to avoid the harsh heat of the region, which can o reach 50 degrees Celsius.
