LION

WILDEBEEST CALF NURSING - Wildebeest also known as gnu [(ɡ)nuː, (ɡ)njuː] in Swahili “nyumbu”, belong to the Bovidae family which includes antelopes, cattle, goats, sheep, and other even-toed horned ungulates native to Eastern and Southern Africa.
In Serengeti National Park, it is estimated that in the year half a million wildebeest are born, and February is the highest birthing rate. Every year huge herds of wildebeest, zebras, and other species migrate from Serengeti to Massai Mara.

CHEMKA HOT SPRINGS
Chemka Hot Springs or Kikuletwa Hot Springs or Rundugai Hot Springs is an unexpected paradise hidden in the desert scrub outside of Boma town.
Situated about 35 km from Moshi, in the heart of the Sanya Plains, lie the Rundugai Springs. In fact, the water is not hot rather it is a pleasant temperature! The springs’ water is from the Greatest African Mountain, Kilimanjaro.
It is an inviting place for a picnic and a swim too. Get a relaxing pedicure from the fish and if lucky enough to camp at these springs, early in the morning you can see turtles swimming along. This crystal-clear, turquoise water is surrounded by palm and fig trees, winding roots offer a picturesque spot for a relaxing afternoon swim.
The spring is over 6 m deep in some places although you can see the bottom through the crystal-clear waters no matter where you are. You can also wrap your arms around one of the roots and just let the water flow by as you drift off into a daydream listening to the monkeys squeaking and birds chipping in the trees.

WHY ELEPHANT SPLASHING MUD?
There is number of reasons for Elephants to lay in mud, blow mud over the body or wallowing; Is to keep cool - protect their skin from the sun or avoid biting insects and sometimes to have fun.
African elephants are their common name, scientific name is Loxodonta, are the largest land animals on Earth, grouped into two species: the savanna (or bush) elephant and the forest elephant.
In average, when live in their nature (wild) they can go up to 13 feet, 7 tons and 70 years. African elephants are slightly larger than Asian Elephants or Asiatic elephant.
