Right now, the northern Serengeti is alive with the rhythmic beat of hooves — and we’ve had the privilege of witnessing some exhilarating river crossings with our guests so far.
The drama of the crossing season is expected to continue until October and our tented camps in Lamai and Kogatende immerse you in the heart of the action.

Glimpsing the Great Migration: where are they now?
Currently, the wildebeest herds are in the western region of the Serengeti – very close to Mila Tented Camp – and they’re expected to arrive in the north anywhere between July and August.
If you’re still looking to experience the Great Migration this year, consider a stay at the following tented camps:
📍From now until late July: Mila Tented Camp
📍From August to late October: Nyasi Tented Camp or Songa Migrational Camp
Governed by the whims of the weather and instinct, the movement of the Great Migration is difficult to predict. However, our travel experts are on hand to assist you in planning an unforgettable safari with us. Email [email protected] for more.

A member of our team recently had a close encounter of the caracal kind at Mwiba Lodge.
She was lucky enough to capture this intimate moment with a beautiful female who we believe has taken up residence in the area surrounding the lodge. Turn your sound up to listen to the distinct call of the caracal.

This beautiful female leopard was spotted by our head guide, Eugene, and his guests, on a recent visit to the rocky outcrop- and boulder-dotted region to the west of Songa Tented Camp – an area known for its big cats.
Leopards can be timid but this female was far from frightened and they were fortunate enough to spend a couple of hours observing and admiring her.
Every Legendary safari has the opportunity for an unscripted adventure to unfold — so why not start planning yours?

This herd of elephants spent the afternoon with us at Mwiba Lodge. We savoured the moment as we watched from the balcony and they bathed in the natural springs below. With the wilderness alive with birdsong… And the calming sounds of the river…
This is the kind of stillness that is unrivalled. Where you’re truly connected to your wild within.
