Tanzanite is found nowhere in the world except at Mirerani township. Mirerani Tanzanite Cultural Tourism is a local tour agency that can take you to the Tanzanite mining sites, including underground visits. The daring visitors have the opportunity to engage partly in the work of miners deep in the long tunnels, serviced by oxygen from the standby compressors at the site. We can take you to visit t

he local Tanzanite market that gathers sellers mostly drawn from small scale miners, and buyers known locally as brokers or master dealers. We also offer a visit to the Maasai Cultural village and a to the Chemka Hot Springs. We are located about an hour outside of Arusha and Moshi, via Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA) route. Public transport is available daily from Arusha to Mirerani. There are two buses one on either route. For accommodation, there are budget guest houses available in the town. If numbers in mathematics were allowed to speak, some will accuse zero (0) and one (1).
Why accusing zero and one, you may ask? Any number multiplied by zero gives you zero. Example, 20,000,000 X 0 = 0. Zero can bring down big numbers to nothing. Some human beings are like zero. If you associate with them, no matter how great your value is, they will bring you down to zero.
What about one (1)?
Any number multiplied by one remains the same (unchanged), no matter how big it is. Example, 20,000,000 X 1 = 20,000,000. Some people are like one. No matter how they touch your life, you remain the same. You will not grow, you will not improve, you just remain where you are.
What kind of person are you and who are your associates?
May God separate us from everyone carrying the spirit of one (1) and zero (0).
May God also help us to grow and be greater than one so that when we touch the lives of others, we will add value.

We also offer a visit to the Maasai Cultural village and a to the Chemka Hot Springs. It’s about an hour and half shuttle from Arusha and Moshi, via Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA) route. Public transport is available on daily basis from morning through dawn. Accommodation ranging from budget travelers are available.
