Lava Tower - Mount Kilimanjaro.

It's a Geological formation, imposing figure and a significant landmark on Mount Kilimanjaro, with altitude of 4,600 m / 15,100 ft and height of 300 ft.
Beautiful views when you’re at this point.

The routes that provide opportunity for you to see this formation are Machame Route, Lemosho Route, and Northern Circuit Route. There is a camp, where you can overnight as well.

Some hikers use as acclimatization point as well, as you hike higher to this point, have a break, then descend low for overnight, following the principle of “Climbing high, sleeping low’ when hiking in high altitude mountains for you to acclimatize well and maximize the chance of reaching the summit.

It’s a great lifetime experience hiking Mount Kilimanjaro and seeing this significant landmark, should be on your bucket list.
